just for fun, which of suriya's characters do you think would survive? how would your favs respond to those situations?

yes, i've read and watched just the main trilogy!

and oohhh fun okAYYY assuming we're removing the overpowered chars like karuppu obviously since he's a god.. hmm... i think bodhidharma clears all, he's the only one who has knowledge of science, herbs/medical, and martial arts for surviving those trials, as well as a character with a lot of discipline, he doesn't need any luxury to survive, and would clearly do well in more rustic/difficult environments. i think chars like nandha and paari from retro would also do fairly well, they're the only other chars raised as living weapons on some level, but they lack discipline and intellect in most other matters, esp paari who has greater trouble with control and anger. i can see them going further than most other suriya characters

i planned to post this for suriya's 51st birthday a while back, and i'm so pleased i've made it. happy birthday, sweet darling, and thank you for this insane film that is so rich and finnicky to explore both good and bad, i love it so much!! very liberating to do something different than my usual edits or whatever, this was great exercise for the brain. have some sketchy art as well!! i tried a couple of different styles, cos i didn't have time to use the usual paint brushes i like for texture, so they're more pencil-y, which was also fun to work with and it felt like a fresh experience still. these here are some of the ones i like more in the set
