Here’s the full comic about the Santa Cruz Wharf collapse last year. We had a huge swell and over 100 feet of the wharf fell into the bay. Sea lions use the beams below to rest and cuddle and I thought a story from their perspective would be fun. Probably, the actual lions were long gone before the disaster, they’re generally smarter about this kind of thing than we are.
I did pitch this comic to a local Santa Cruz news outlet and I got a soft yes! But we haven’t worked out the details, so I’ll let you know when and where it’s going to show up! Yay😄
