Unpopular opinion - functionally, I somewhat prefer the non-pushbutton gangster grip.
The button modded grips look rad as hell, but they're a lot more fragile and more permanent as to what they're wired up for.
Buttonless grip lets me use whatever laser/illuminator tape switches I want and replaced as easily as undoing some velcro and 100mph tape.
Plus if you have one of the momentary pushbutton tailcaps like I have here, you have the option for constant light by just twisting the tailcap with your thumb. A little more clumsy, but a lot more failproof and no need to hold down a button for constant light.
Plus Delta used just as many, if not more set up this way as they did with the pushbutton ones anyhow.
Also the next person to moan about how terrible and awkward gangster grips are gets beaten with a rubber mackerel
