She told herself as she looked upon him, watched as he moved towards her to sit. Yet, she kept herself at a distance from him. Her mind became clouded around him, she wanted to believe there was man still worth saving.

She questioned, her gaze shifting away from him for a moment. Was there something to end? She asked herself, would she give up her pursuit to save him from the darkness? No, she owed that much to those that had given her a chance, to those that made her feel like she had a place. And to those, that still wanted Ben Solo to come home to them.
