Another thing bout the 90's we bought shit! #SupportLikeItsThe90s #FuckStreaming 🙏 @fadeawaybarber I enjoy the convenience of streaming like most people but these streaming payout numbers is what makes me also say fuck streaming too. I have Apple Music & Tidal for me & my daughters & even though I can stream any albums on Apple, I still buy the albums on ITunes for 2 reasons. 1- More money(which still isn’t shit really)goes to the artists & 2- the album will stay in my library if the artist or label decides to take it off streaming sites, hence what just happened to the “FlyGod” album for the 2nd time, I hope a lot of y’all bought it in ITunes before they took it down. They say streaming saved the music industry which I’m sure it did but it mainly benefits the big record companies unless your doing Drake numbers & they still get a lot more of the payout than Drake does. I think @rocmarci & @jazzungang really laid a great blueprint out with their “Rosebudds Revenge 1” album & more artist should follow that. It worked out great for @knowledgethepirate777 “Flintlock” & “Black Cesar” albums too. Make it exclusive on your website/Bandcamp for the 1st few weeks to month & make physicals available right away at least CDs so it can get in collectors hands as soon as possible because I know a LOT of hip hop heads who wait until they get the physical album in hand before they even listen to the album. Then after a month throw it on streaming platforms. Make your money & feed your family. Some will complain for that 1st month that its not on streaming platforms but the real ones will pay & support & the others will stop complaining when the album goes on streaming platforms. I’m a nobody so don’t listen to me, but Roc & Jazz laid a pretty damn good blueprint to go by for u artists💯💎 (at Kirkcaldy, Fife) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bwr12AoAQJ3/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=6n5lwft54uo0
