Seeing Dean Withers cry for Charlie Kriks's children is insane. Of course, I also feel bad for Charlie's kids. Nobody should have to go through the trauma of watching their dad get shot. But I haven't seen Dean crying A SINGLE TIME about the thousands of innocent children dying in Gaza, Congo, or Sudan. I haven't seen him shed a single tear for the children who have lost their parents there, or for the parents that have lost their children. I haven't seen him cry about children who have been injured or killed in school shootings either.
Empathy is not wrong. It just feels really icky to see him cry over a white supremacist and not innocent civilians.
