*Byleth approaches Elodie

Elodie: Hello Professor! How can I help you? Did you need anything?

Byleth: I wanted to ask about yesterday.

Elodie: Yesterday?

Byleth: Why do you feel under accomplished?

Elodie: Oh that. It’s like I said before, my sisters are all exceptionally skilled and I’m just well... me. Compared to them I’m not much of anybody really.

Byleth: Is that how they view you?

Elodie: They might as well. I mean, what do I even have to offer?

Byleth: What about writing?

Elodie: My writing?

Byleth: You have a passion for it.

Elodie: I suppose I do.

Byleth: You also like helping others do you not?

Elodie: Of course I do! That’s why I’ve been learning more about healing magic and practicing my swordplay. I want to do my part and protect others.

Byleth: It’s those kind of passions that make you who you are.

Elodie: And that’s what I have to bring to the table huh? I guess that’s a perspective I’ve never taken before. Thank you so much Professor!

Laslow: [slight grin] Ah, nighttime... the best time of any day, if I’m being fair to myself!

Laslow: [determined smile] The time of day to dance like nobody’s watching!

Laslow: [regular smile] Let’s see... hmm? Who’s that?

Pix: [focused] Hmm.. this branch is a little weird… Do I have to get closer? I’d rather not get leaves over this outfit, it’s still quite new… 

Laslow: [regular] Pix… What’s she doing out here so late? Usually I’m the only one up…

Pix: [gritted teeth] Aaah, whatever. Why should I care about a stupid outfit, anyway? Not like someone’s gonna sneak up behind me and be like ‘you should be more proper in that’ and blah blah blah…

Pix: [regular expression] Hmm… might as well take the time and try to…

Pix: [focused] Hmmmmm.

Laslow: Should I...?

Laslow: [slight grin] Well, why not. Hello, Pix!

Pix: [wide-eyed] Oh gods! Uh, hey, Laslow!

Laslow: What are you doing, up so late at night?

Pix: [frowning, sweatdrop] W-Well, same to you, mister ‘scare-the-pants-off-me’! What are you doing here?

Laslow: [regular smile] I was just taking a midnight stroll.

Laslow: [slight grin] Couldn’t sleep, you know?

Pix: [thoughtful] ...Yeah, I guess so.

Laslow: And… Ah, look at your outfit! Rather fancy for just being out in the middle of nowhere, don’t you think?

Pix: [wide-eyed, sweatdrop] W-Well, it wasn’t like I was going to wear it around camp! So I decided to wear it now!

Laslow: [regular smile] Is that the book I saw the other day?

Pix: [regular] ...Er, yes. Sometimes my thoughts get me down, so I distract myself by writing down… 

Pix: [regular, sweatdrop] my thoughts?

Laslow: [regular] ...What kind of thoughts?

Pix: N-Not important! A-Anyhow, I would love to actually get some sleep tonight, s-so I’m gonna go! Bye!

[Pix leaves]

Laslow: [dorky expression] Ah, wait! ... Too late, she’s gone.

Laslow: [regular smile] ...
