Supplement 3: The one they call “Feat Feet”
Pacifists aren’t usually the types that are recruited into the army. There are times where one must put aside their morals in order to stand up for their country under dire circumstances.
Elric Inocencio is one such Creaden. A born pacifist, Elric refuses to fight or kill under any circumstances. No amount of convincing has ever swayed Elric into believing in “senseless murder under any circumstances.”
Even if one claims to refuse to kill, that argument holds little water when drafted into the army. Begrudgingly agreeing under the condition that he is a spotter for his childhood friend, Elric was soon taken into the military in Sabine.
His current rank is a Private First Class and is armed with a quarterstaff with sharpened, steel tips. Although they have enough force to penetrate flesh and fur, Elric has never attempted to do so, nor does he want to find out. His current use for his quarterstaff is as a tool for his acrobatic fighting style.
Choosing not to kill, he instead opts to injure or incapacitate his foes. His ability to hop and jump highly with skilled dexterity has earned him the codename “Feat Feet”.Â
Reflecting his pacifistic nature is his affinity for the “Earth” element. Most Creaden are born with an affinity of one of four aspects: Earth, Air, Space, and Spirit. They all manifest uniquely, for example: no two Earth affinity Creaden will have the same powers.
In Elric’s case, his ability is the creation of walls made from soil or other natural elements with a stomp of his foot. This allows him to create a temporary shield to block incoming attacks.Â
Elric has also come up with more exotic uses for his Earth Shield ability. Sometimes he uses it to create a platform for his acrobatic attacks.Â
His stubbornness and outright refusal to cause major bodily harm to anyone under any circumstances has forced him to come up with creative ways to defend himself. So far, he finds it works well enough to fend off would-be attackers. His training has yet to prove him wrong.
However, Elric still holds one weapon capable of taking lives: a rapier. This rapier was bestowed upon him as a sort of heirloom by his late parents. He does not wish to dirty its blade with “the blood of innocents” so he instead keeps it at his aunt and uncle’s house mounted on the wall.
Yori, his childhood friend, is trying to convince him to keep it at all times. Elric has thought about it, but hasn’t decided yet.
