The government might flex policies of bail bonds
A US House bill aims to substitute cash bonds for pretrial individuals with supervised release.
Civil right groups are happy with this bill because the current system violates the concept of “innocent until proven guilty.”
On the other hand, bail bondsmen are expecting their businesses to fall if the bill pushes through.
