The next thing I want to talk about is.... FIRE. EMBLEM. AWAKENING. About a month ago, I discovered a guy playing it on Twitch.TV. Upon watching him play, I got the urge to start playing again myself.Â
Over the last few weeks, I have started: six new files of the game. I own two copies of the game, one digital and one hard. Each copy can hold three save files. I started six new files. Doing the math? Well, don't. I override other files, and had a couple of free ones. I didn't delete my very first completed file, but all the other ones were pretty much new.
One file was just using my first avatar again but in a harder difficulty, and with some marriages different. I also made two male files and married Sumia and Lissa, simply because I wanted Cynthia and Owain to be my children. Eh, I'm not really too much a fan of being a male otherwise. You also get fem!Morgan and I don't like her all that much. : ( I mean, she's cute and all, but nothing in comparison to her male counterpart.
But anyway... I also made two new female characters, Quartz and Orchid. Quartz file was saved over upon completion with Orchid's, but no harm there. I wasn't too attached to it, and only did it on a spur of the moment to marry Gaius. Unfortunately, it made a strange Morgan, and even though I love my baby Morgan dearly, it wasn't enough to save that file.Â
NOW ORCHID. I have been debating for a while the idea of marrying my favorite of the sons (other than Morgan) and having a third-gen Morgan. Who's my favorite of the sons? Inigo! I freaking love him... like so, so much... He's adorable (in terms of personality), hot (in terms of appearance), and his voice. OH. MY. GOD. HIS. VOICE. Liam O'Brien <333Â
The next question was now: who will be his father? Well, as I have married Chrom with Tavaril in a couple of files and was so used to seeing Morgan with the blue hair, I simply had to choose Chrom. Not only does it hep Inigo out (Chrom is one of his better/best fathers), but Morgan retains his blue hair that I adore him with, and is still, technically royalty.Â
I married Orchid and Inigo last night, went straight up to pick up Morgan, immediately A-ranked support Morgan and Inigo, and I just... Omg.
I can't even- just. I love them so much. SO. MUCH. GAH. Like, WOW. And Inigo as my husband- just... ah~~~~Â
OH! And I went to the support log after doing the above, and since I had completed the game with another file to open the log up (my Tavaril file) and in that, Inigo is the child of Lon'qu (thus having black/brown hair). The game hasn't registered my Orchid file in the log, for some reason (it's not because I haven't beaten the game, as I have my male file on there where I'm married to Sumia incomplete yet his logs are all there to see), but I can go to Inigo and watch his supports with Chrom (as father and son) and with Morgan (as his father/son), but it's the Inigo from the Tavaril file. So he has brown hair in the support scenarios where he's supposed to have blue hair.
I actually... like it? I mean, I'm not really a fan of Inigo with blue hair in all honesty. I like him with dark/brunette hair because the first time I ever beat the game, back in March, I had Olivia married to Kellam, who has brown hair. So I got used to that look. Maybe in my own head canon for that universe, Inigo got a darker shade of Chrom's or something.
Oh, another thing. Lucina and Inigo. It's funny how they're my favorite couple of the second gen, yet I made them siblings for Orchid's world. Heh. I like both situations just fine, though. Not like for male!Morgan if he's not Lucina's brother. I've seen the romantic supports between them and it's just, no. Just no. It doesn't work for me.Â
I dunno. I am just rambling on like a crazed person, so going to end this now....
NO... One more thing too, and I promise its the last thing. Okay, so Lon'qu. I mentioned that in my Tavaril file (on hard difficulty), he was Inigo's father. I fell in love with Lon'quxOlivia by their supports because of their backgrounds, and how she's shy, he's afraid of women. And then they get an outgoing, womanizer for a son! Ha! That was also a dilemma in me deciding who to be Inigo's father when I planned to marry him.Â
Then I had to discover Cherche and Lon'qu's supports. Gosh. It made me tear up. :( So sad, and unlike a lot of support conversations, it actually tells something that's interesting to now. BACK STORY. Yeah, I am going to have them marry in this play though with Orchid, and have Lon'qu deal with teasing his emo son Batman- I mean Gerome...
