You go to the superheroes room, with a mission in mind you tried to get close, to show your face and help, but instead some other henchmen come and ruined it.

You were so close, you were about to put your hands in the helmet, but he just have to ruin it.

Some heroes looked at you confused then saw you exit the room.

On the villain, he was explaining the plan for other henchmen, you were lucky to listen to everything now.

First they gonna kill every hero here on a TV live stream for some reason, bro was really mad at heroes existing at all. After that, with the Batman help, the files of defeating every hero, they will get the big ones (Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter etc), and after that conquer the world. Little did they know about you.

Maybe you should go back to your phone charging, and try to call for some back up. But there like... 3 goons in the damn door. And what is your excuse to enter? Check? They might see the phone, you didn't hide the phone. And they would destroy your precious baby in no time.

— Apollo! — You looked behind, seeing the villain looking at you, and you only. You pointed at yourself — Yes you, now come here.

Swating like you just get out of a hot shower, you walked to the villain feeling like about to give at any time. But you remembered your friends tied up and scared. Nobody to call, the only heroes, some fainted and others heavily injured.

Making small traps to get then stuck in a room or two. They might have guns, but you know every room code.

You finally put a locker in the door to not open, now it's only you and the people inside. Your knife was on someone back by now, and there's no going back.

One by one was getting removed from the principal (the stream room), only remaining the villains one. Who finally noticed they are alone.

You opened the door in a slow way, tired of beating goons.

— Wh-who are you?! — One them said looking at you with blood on your hands and eyes of who have faced worse —

— A janitor.

You runned and jumped at them. The life was opened and everyone on the whole world could see a random person beating the shit of some malicious looking weird people, and some heroes on the background cheering, fainted, or just happy.

— They get Green Arrow! — Flash said looking at his friends, you were rolling with the villain to out of screen —

— And Reader got [villain], can't believe they actually have all this straight — Hawkgirl said while seeing you break one of the villains arm — The workout is really paing of.

— This is the same person who screamed at a roach/[other insect] — Aquaman said while laughing, remembering how you jumped too —

But life couldn't stop. You needed the money, to pay rent, to pay bills, water, food, and to make sure you could quit your job and be ok until you find another job. But was never enough.

It was enough to pay rent and bills, but to never move on, even if you skip eating, showers. You feel trapped in a loop hole, drowning and only going deep and deep.

Your boss calls you to his office again. Second time this day, always hopping for the best, maybe he wanted to discuss about work? Obviously no, but you don't have any choice.

You don't believe, you couldn't bring yourself to believe, an villain attack happened. The building was not made for this, then collapsed, your boss tried to scream for help but he fall before he could ask. The flames devoured him.

You are not proud of this. No you were not, but you smiled. You cried and laughed of happiness.
