Ladybug S2 Organized, or: I’m One Crazy Son of a Gun
So about…………not that many days ago, I decided to start rewatching all of Ladybug s2 to prepare for the finale (that’s a joke, nothing will prepare me for this finale). I told my friends I would watch the episodes in the Zag “production order” that was posted on Tumblr an indefinite time ago. Well pretty quickly my faithful ho @spockishot​ pointed out there were already several inconsistencies in that order, so though I really liked some pieces of it, I am obviously extremely picky and noticed even more as I kept going.
“@trishmishtree​ did a masterful reorder of s1,” I thought, “so how hard could it be to do one of s2 myself??”

NOTE: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ALL OF S2 (EXCLUDING “MAYURA”) BELOWÂ
I did not code for every side of the love square, but what I felt were the most significant and consistent developments this season: Chat Noir dealing with his feelings for and rejection by Ladybug, and Marinette curbing her selfish attitudes towards Adrien as he repeatedly stresses that he only sees her as a friend. Some Marichat moments are only noted for continuity.
Because “The Collector” and “Day of Heroes” episodes bookend the season, they cannot be moved; I gave “Sandboy” this status too tho, because it has the most significant plot moment aside from the finale: Hawkmoth now having direct contact with the source of power he seeks.Â
I didn’t talk about Nathalie ONLY because I literally ran out of space in Lucidchart.

so I usually wait until I can watch Ladybug in French bc that’s my fave dub cast, but I got minorly spoiled for something in “Dark Owl” so I was like eh fuck it, let’s just watch the damn thing in Spanish with subs. @spockishot insists we video chat for this because she is a demon who feeds on my freaking out. well, the demon feasted tonight, because THAT SCENE IN THE CAGE THING HAPPENED
