Thanks to Jarrod Buttery and Back Issue Magazine for featuring us in this in-depth article about Lila Cheney, for their Rock 'N' Roll Comics Issue! This is, as far as I can recall, the only time our video has been mentioned in a for-real magazine. Not only do we get a photo in the article, I get to walk away with this super-nice quote from Louise Simonson: "I very much enjoyed the video. I wish the whole X-Men: Apocalypse movie had felt like that!" Today I got to meet #louisesimonson (and her husband Waltsomething) who had the absolute heartmeltingly sweet things to say about our #LilaCheney #NewMutants #Dazzler music videos which she had seen back when it came out and was convinced was an official production. I am giddy and humbled and also the Simonsons are who I'd wanna be when I grow up. Seriously, with #ThorRagnarok, #Cable, New Mutants, Death of Superman, and the X-Men movies, their influence is up there with #ChrisClaremont and #StanLee. You could say they're the original #powercouple (We are good kindred spirits if you get and forgive this terrible joke). Louise was so sweet she asked to take a picture of @mylynnstagram and ME on HER phone to send to Chris Claremont.
