#superbloom 2025

Hozier at Superbloom festival 31st August 2025

I'm going alone and I've never been to a big big concert so do you have any advice?

sooo idk if you've gathered that i'm german but that was actually (unfortunately) a biig advantage (from what i've experienced)

last year it was veryyy badly disorganised, like completely all over the place :/

i feel like neither the organisers nor security really knew what they were supposed to do, especially on saturday morning/noon it was bad, where we were all waiting in line to get let in; in total i think there were 3 entrances, but everyone was crowded and the app kept sending ppl to another entrance every few minutes (they were a good 20 mins walk apart so that didn't really make sense ykwim) oh and the queue we were in was soooo disorganised, no one really knew if they were in the right line so it all just ended up being one big crowd up until the very end

once finally inside the ONE (1) water fountain tgey were advertising the fuck out of was down by the lake, accessible from 3 sides and there was literally no coming through, so my friends and i just went to fill our bottles up from the sink at the toilets (sounds more disgusting than it was, tho ik from personal experience not every stall had toilet paper, so you might want to check before you go (,: )

ofc the weather was SCORCHING HOT but that wasnt superbloom's fault :)

getting to the very first section closest to the 2 main stages inside the olympia-stadium was quite fast on Saturday but it took us a few artists on sunday, bc they only let ppl in if some others leave :,)

the food was pricey as fuck so we only bought some on sunday, bc we were there longer than on saturday

all in all it was a very unique experience tho but tbh i can't really speak for the events outside the stages bc i was one if the crazy ones waiting all day for their fav artists at the main stages and not leaving that spot

i know some different brands had booths or whatever you call it but well we didn't go and see lmao, i do know tho that you were only allowed to go and see the artists at the IQOS stage if you were 1) over 18 and 2) promised to try some of their products (vapes and stuff) they didn't allow you stand outside, they would usher you away within a few minutes

if you still need someone to go with this year, my friends and me will be attending the superbloom on sunday this year so feel free to reach out, if you don't want to go alone ^-^ buut fair warning we'll probably be a group of like 5+ ppl, just a little warning in case that's too many strangers at once for you, that's completely fine :)
