Year of Content: any thoughts on a story where Everything Changed When The (Not Fire Nation) Attacked?Just like, what you'd most likely read or write, any plot ideas/alternative character roles that come to mind.
Let me start off by saying I am never, ever going to write this, but I think if the Fire Nation didn't attack, then the Earth Kingdom- specifically Ba Sing Se would've been the ones to attack. I think in that world, Roku passed peacefully, and eventually Iroh ended up on the throne. I don't know if Lu Ten died. This story would be the beginning of the war, so no major implausible genocidal incidents. The airbenders are still around, and Avatar Aang is alive and super old. Zuko would be eager to join the war, and he would probably end up fighting alongside Hakoda and eventually Sokka and Katara. Shenanigans abound.
I'll level with you, I'm not that interested in the "And then the Other Guys attacked stories. I'm not against them, it's just not what I'm drawn to.
