The advisor felt absolutely awful, less for himself but more for his friends. They had to see him like this and be constantly worried. While he could do naught. He wasn’t even handling it well.
He did occasionally enjoy being in the darkness but back then there was at least a glimmer of light on his desk or through the window. Now it’’s pitch black as the void.
“Thank you, Prompto.”
His head rose up as if he were to look at Prompto caressing his hand. It was so calming, even if he could only imagine that.
“Just someone being nearby helps. You could say I become paranoid otherwise.” and for a reason because in that case he can only hear his breathing. And that was scary as a thought alone.
“But I’ll get used to this. It’s not a big deal--” what a lie but Ignis tried to find some positivity in this. He couldn’t just sulk forever. He’ll adapt to this.
Just give him some of that precious time they barely have right now.
