street lights remind me of that night when we were still in love. do you remember? we laid down next to each other in your parents’ backyard and looked up at the sky, not knowing the end of our late night talks was around the corner. i looked at the street light above us and knew that i’d carry this moment in my heart forever. and here i am nearly 3 years later, looking up at a lonely light, and all my heart can yell is “I REMEMBER, I REMEMBER, I REMEMBER.”
