Summary:

Life was good on the Isle of Monsters, which leaves a small skeletal judge at a disadvantage when he wakes in the large and dangerous Void. With no knowledge of the Void or other universes at all, he has to rely on the kindness of strangers to survive. But the Void is full of strange kinds indeed. Perhaps they are in need of his help as much as he needs theirs.

The first being a huge version of a certain familiar blue parka wearing skeleton. Joining them is another familiar tall, thin, and pointy skeleton, and even an old yellow lizard.

Inspired by @underfellfangame, here is my idea for a Doodle Sphere Island, the Isle of Monsters.

It’s mainly a backstory AU for my OC Yarnus.

Not all monsters were imprisoned under Mt Ebbot. A whole different set on the other side of the world were subject to a different sort of human attack. When the Roman legions came to conquer the British Isles, mages working with Monsters created a barrier around what was once called the Isle of Man.  

Protected from the world outside (alternative history… the Romans won) they lived in relative peace with only the ocasional shipwrecked humans.

No canon UT characters exist, but many have odd similarities. King Jarl is a big fellow, Yarnus is his “Justiciar”, the Weavers are spider-folk, but the majority of monsters come from Scandinavian and European folklore.
