Hi!!! Yes I have heard of it before, me and Mara are friends!
I absolutely love Mara's interpretation of Dreamtale and its addressing of themes such as childhood and religious trauma. I know Mara and I know how personal that work is to them, and they do such a beautiful job representing that pain. The world is bittersweet and cruel, and The Apuldor Psalter is so lovingly warm and so nostalgically tragic at the same time. It is uncomfortable, but life often is. Mara's artstyle and her use of photobashing as well really truly sets the vibe of the whole au as well, and you can tell how her fascination with the tudor era of history really shines through in terms of historical references as well.
Tldr Mara is the best and I love their AU so so so so so much and they are also such a lovely kind person and deserves happiness and joy and respect and nice things forever.
Also last year Mara drew a picture of me with the psalter twins as toddlers and I literally cried over it for a full hour
