Hello! I'm currently trying to learn animation on my own and I'm loving your animation! Can I ask you what program i should start off with and what reference/websites I should be looking at? Thanks!
Thank you! First off, your art is incredible, I’m sure with your talent, you'll have a fun time animating.
I suggest Adobe Flash. People love to drag Flash (which I understand) but It's easy to get started on Flash and it's much more accessible than more expensive programs. Flash is also very capable of creating amazing content. Check out Alex and Lindsay Small Butera’s animations.
This is a huge cliche but The Animator’s Survival Kit by Richard Williams is a great intro book that makes the principles of animation easy to understand. Take a look at this site for ideas to get started.
Animation requires a lot of patience and concentration but it is so rewarding to see it play back. Have fun!
Hello Mr Truffles. I'd like to ask you how i can comment on Tumblr posts? This shit is complicated and i have some poop to poop. So. whats the secret?
hahaha hey sempai. did you mean stuff like the tags i put on your 할까 말까 comic? that’s just tags that the OP can look at with the xkit ‘tagviewer’ extension that you can install. if you want to add your own permanent addition to a post, all you have to do is type in or add a picture to the bottom when you reblog something. but if you just want to leave a little note for the original poster to see, sometimes (depending on the type of post) there’s a little speech bubble icon at the bottom of the post and a little window will pop up where you can type some stuff and it’ll become it’s own note. don’t worry, you’ll easily get the hang of this helter-skelter website the more you use it. now go poop all your poops~
