Particularly:

- Loving this young swifts team (that by the way bet the Giants this week!!), the fight they’re showing and their attitude and passion towards winning. I think helped by the way that they lost their coach last year, I love how determined they are to prove everyone wrong. Doesn’t hurt that I enjoy a few of the personalities in the team! Sad they’ve got Maddy but more than happy to see her (& our other south aussie girls) doing well there!

- Loving seeing the Firebirds do well, to see Geitzy back and to see Gretel and Romelda working well together! I’m one of the rarer ones that loves Tippett’s flair (and have from the beginning) and I’m always excited and watching for what she will do next. Also just a massive fan of Gabi...she’s an amazing player and leader, enough said!!

- I picked the lightning as my second favourite team (yep there is a hierarchy!) at the beginning of last year, because I’m a big fan of Langman, Bassett and Mentor. And then, of course, I got to know and enjoy all of the others. They’ve had a ‘hard’ (in the way that they’re starting with 3 losses) start to the year, and I think they are missing Langman more than I would have expected. But I definitely believe they’ll still be competitive this year and I’m looking forward to continue watching them!

- Unfortunately I think it’s just going to be a hard slog for our Thunderbird girls this year 😞 I’ll always be supporting them but I’m just hoping we get a win or two and are as competitive as possible along the way. And develop some new talent and gel more each week as a team!!
