I don't think I've ever drawn Renxiang before, and I'm so sorry that it took me this long to. She's so beautiful ;;

1: ORIGINS! HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE CONCEPT FOR YOUR OC?

-OH GOD. Well u see... He came from a bunch of things kinda. He was only given an actual form in Empires 7 appearance wise, when i felt like trying the whole fox-faced thing andheturnedoutlookinggoodwtfomg. For personality he’s always been there, just w/o a name kinda. Like he kinda was like... The recurring secondary character when I wrote things and then empires happened with the appearance and then suddenly; “Oh god. This is it. I didn’t even know i was doing it or trying but this is it. CALL HIM HU.”

3: HAS YOUR OC GONE THROUGH DIFFERENT INCARNATIONS DURING THEIR STAY ON TUMBLR? WERE THEY REIMAGINED OR HAVE THEY STAYED THE SAME ALL THIS TIME?

Not on... Tumblr...

But Hu has changed a lot via rp with others and then shenans with tia.

Like at first he was this really angry and kinda done dude with a trickster streak who escaped family and decided he wanted to do shit on his own terms[while being a whiny sulky butt bc growing up was sucky] while also overprotective with mama hen streaks

But he kinda mellowed out? And a lot of it probably has to do with the utter fucking WRINGER literally everyone but Tia put him through, and none of it was actually intentional. Like... Just, Hu has some scars now and they won’t go away.

He’s also now confirmed to have mental conditions, part from that shit above and esp after I fleshed out the craziness of his family more. I mean... lets just say his last name is Feng for a reason. He doesn’t like it and tries not to bother anyone with it or make it obvious, which is different from before because he’d sulk forever and ever. He’s still really tricky and manipulative but its more subtle and out of focus, even though its actually a really BIG part of his nature.

Still team mom, tho, which is the most important bit.

5: WERE YOU NERVOUS ABOUT PUTTING YOUR OC OUT THERE? HOW LONG DID IT TAKE BEFORE YOU DECIDED TO PLAY YOUR OC HERE ON TUMBLR.

Eh. I put him there, then just... Stopped. Idk again, rp and me havent been working for at least thirty years.

7: WHAT DOES YOUR OC LOOK FOR IN A FRIEND? DO THEY VALUE FRIENDSHIP A LOT?

He values relationships a lot in general. For a friend he wants someone who’s confident and fun but also stable and reasonable. Hu is loyal, reliable and always has your back, and expects the same.

9: WHAT IS YOUR OC LIKE WHEN AT WORK? ARE THEY DILIGENT? SLACKER? DO THEY GET ALONG WITH THEIR CO-WORKERS?

Works hard, very hard. Quick to do things, obedient and does things well. Work ethic is very good... So he can be lazy later. Sometimes he’ll be lazy at work and just trick his way into getting away with it.

11: IS THERE A PLACE THEY GO TO IN ORDER TO ESCAPE THE WORLD, THE STRESSES OF LIFE? WHAT’S THEIR FAVOURITE PLACE?

Anywhere that’s warm. Usually his bed. Sometimessomeoneelse’sbedifitsreallybad.

13: DO THEY HAVE ANY FAVOURITE FOODS? WOULD THEY EAT IT ALL THE TIME IF THEY HAD THE CHANCE? WHAT DO THEY HATE TO EAT?

Tofu, liver[chicken is his favorite], alcohol, rice, cherries, peppers, spicy things and just meat in general are generally his favorite foods. He wouldn’t eat them all the time; he firmly believes that eating something often makes it less of a treat. He hates sugary sweet things like key lime pie, and really hates super greasy food if it’s not pizza or bbq. He’s actually surprisingly picky as an eater, which is why he cooks tbh.

Will still easily tank the ghost pepper challenge and not even blink. Hell, he’d /enjoy/ it. This man is dangerous.

15: DOES YOUR OC HAVE ANY AWFUL FEARS? DO THEY GET PARALYZED WITH FEAR OR CAN THEY WORK THROUGH THEIR FEARS?

TOO MANY. Not protecting the people he loves, hurting the people he loves, the people he loves hating him, his mental problems actually hurting others, his family taking him back, actually finding out what happened to his family since he’s left[it’s not good and he knew it wouldn’t be when he made the decision to leave so yeah], disappointing uncle Zhou Tai, being rejected in general, and being alone    

17: DO THEY HAVE ANY GUILTY PLEASURES? THEY EMBARRASSED ABOUT THEM? DO THEY FLAUNT THEM?

Sans one; pranks. He loves low key pranking people and having them be confused. He doesn't even let them know it was him, he’s just satisfied at the success and hilarity. He’s mildly sheepish if you find out but overall unashamed.

19: HAVE THEY EVER BEEN INJURED? SICK? HOW DO THEY DEAL WITH IT?

He gets injured a lot, and usually he takes care of it quickly. He can handle a lot of pain, though, so he usually will focus on someone else’s wounds than his if theirs are worse. He doesn’t get sick often, but when he does he’s super quiet and miserable and he’s sometimes legit crying like a baby because omfg being sick sucks soooo much weh. He doesn’t like being taken care of in both cases and usually tries to deal with it on his own.

I just... I don’t actually know. I just wanted to make a lady who was femme fatale-y without a lot of other shit... And for some reason decided she hated clothes bc wild child... And then she happened... Idk.

Well depends. Usually? Kinda bad bc she usually either runs away or her mum does. Her dad tries to like contact her but she’s like “no”. With her adopted grandad tho she gets along with him tho they snark so much all the time.

Someone intellectual and handsome and can keep up with her. She likes honest types more than she’d admit, bonus if they are stable and grounded in reality while being fun and adventurous.

With no real caution, because she doesn’t really ever reveal things about herself when approached or when approaching. If she doesn’t want to talk, she’ll let them know clearly, if she feels like socializing she will.

-Honestly I just have to think about mother hen mode and wanting to give everyone cookies and a firm iron fist on the shoulder and then bam.

-With the family she makes? Beautifully except for the one daughter. With the family she was born in? She doesn’t associate with any of them except for Jia and if she does interact with them its very cooly and with no shit being taken.
