The Summertime Sun Tea Cocktail is a light and refreshing drink that is great for hot summer days. Tea is brewed naturally in the sun, which gives it a mildly sweet and citrusy taste. Adding a little vodka or rum to this classic drink turns it into a delicious cocktail.
Ingredients: 4 cups water. 4 tea bags black tea or herbal tea of your choice. 1/4 cup honey or sugar. 1 lemon, sliced. 1 cup vodka or rum. Fresh mint leaves, for garnish.
Instructions: Put water, tea bags, honey or sugar, and lemon slices in a large glass jar. Put the jar in direct sunlight for four to six hours to let the tea steep and brew. Take out the tea bags and lemon slices after the tea has brewed. Put the sun tea in the fridge and wait until it is cold. When it's cold, add vodka or rum and mix it in. Put it on ice and top it off with fresh mint leaves.
