Sun-bleach Chapter 3
Please ask before using characters! (Unless it’s my sis using Celesta)
“Hello Adressa!” The fairy-girl yelped and turned to run when she hit her face on wall. “You...okay?” Alice walked up to her, but Drano splashed her with a water bottle. “Yeesh, just trying to talk to somebody!” Lizma, yet another Zulla, just shook her bleach blonde head.
Alice jogged down the stairs and was quite upset with how things were turning out. Adressa rubbed her forehead, sighed, and waited a bit before going down the stairs.
Cassidia was already getting her food. She had mainly fruit salad, since she was told it was tasty, plus she never really had fruit of any kind while hopping foster parents. She had gotten a bit of meat and for some odd reason, no jello! She seem to be the only person in the school not eating the jello, since she was suspicious of it. She sat down with Marcus who had to grab honey comb to feed Garmak. He had taken a chunk bigger than his own hand to keep the his trap shut. He had already threatened to tell people about he pattern of his boxers if he was not satisfied.
“Yo. How's your little mons-” He was interrupted by Allicana throwing a plastic spoon at his head. “Hey! What the heckie?!” He just shook his head and continued eating his chicken leg.
“Hello, brother~!” Teresa hip-checked him to the side and took his spot. How can she have this much energy?! Cassidia shook her head and grabbed for her spoon. Remembering Allicana threw it like a missile at Marcus, she sighed, got up, and went to get another one.
Unfortunately, she ran into a familiar face at the 'silver'-ware holder. It was Chris, the jerk to nearly suffocated her at lunch. Now what would be a nice entrance phrase?
“Hey, 'buddy'!” She grabbed him in a similar headlock, but instead of getting elbow to the stomach, she nearly got a spoon to the face! She dexterously grabbed the spoon and made him fall over, and was rewarded with a yelp of surprise and pain.
She pushed her way back to the table, and Allicana flew at her. “You gotta see this!” She gave a laugh of triumph and glee. She grabbed her larger companion's hand and pulled her through the crowd, away from her table.
“Oy! I just wanna eat right now, we can look at your weird thingie-do later, I want my dinner.” Cassidia was swatting at her in desperation of her hunger, but Allicana wasn't about to give up now.
What Cassidia saw was a fight between two people she didn't know, but it was getting pretty bloody. Allicana was cheering the fight on, she was in absolute blood-lust. Cassidia looked at them in horror. Not only that, the platform they were fighting on was beginning to dissipate. I have to do something!
She shoved her way to the window, were she stood on behind it, and shouted, “Hey, you're gonna fall!” The didn't seem to hear.
Allicana saw what she was trying to do. She smirked with satisfaction, and commanded, “Jump! Trust me!”
“What?!” She looked at the Zulla to see if she was going crazy. She only nodded. Cassidia's eyes grew to the size of tea cups she climbed into the windowsill, and stood there for a bit. All the cheering for the fight had stopped, and the only sounds were whispers to ask if she was gonna live if she fell. Everything was a heated debate with this crowd.
Cassidia took a deep breath and held her arms out to her sides. She released the carbon dioxide, and jumped.
She screamed as she fell, “ALLICANA, I'M GONNA DIE!” She felt the cold, night air rush on her face.
“Think to yourself the words, 'Wings of Light'!” She yelled to her partner. So cliche... But I have no choice! Wings of Light!
For a spit, she knew Allicana was trying to kill her. Then, beautiful, white, angelic wings appeared on her back. “MAKE ME FLY YOU.. THINGS!” Instantly, she shot into the air like a bullet. She screamed again, putting her arms out, and they wings stopped. Oh. She leaned toward the two fighters, pointed to them and flew quickly towards them. They had stopped fighting and were looking at her, even thought the platform was still dissipating.
Allicana flew next to her partner, watched intently. She had flew up to them, and was attempting to pull them apart. It wasn't going so well, since she wasn't noticed among them, but she had caught lots of eyes inside the cafeteria. They were whispering all kinds of secrets and lies among themselves. With our heroine, she had given up pulling them apart, but had begun to hit them herself. She had punched the boy on top in the back of the head, witch had, incidentally, caused the platform to break.
“NO!” Cassidia had yelled as she pulled on the back of the boy's costume. It wasn't working, but it was certainly choking him!
“I think you have a pretty good idea of what I want you to do.” Cassidia sighed. She sped downwards and caught the two fighters under herself. She couldn't support them for long, since they were heavy together.
Then she looked down.
It was terrifying, just all that air below her, and she felt suffocated. She was paralyzed for a second, and it took it her a bit to snap into reality. She leaned diagonally up and towards the building. She tossed them threw the window, and it hit a couple of kids.
“Dang...” One of the fighters said. “I didn't know my buddy could save my life.” It was Chris, and he was tackled when Cassidia jumped into the window.
“Personally, I'm not very surprised.” That was a lie, but she didn't care. She was proud of herself, and nothing was going to change that, even as her wings dissolved.
As she sat back down at her table, the bell rang to announce the time to return to dorms was rung. Cassidia sighed and picked up Allicana by the shirt. “Next time you get me into a fight, consider me.” She flicked her right in the head. “Next time, it's death.” holding her head in pain, she shuddered. I'll get a big breakfast tomorrow.Â
Sun-bleach Chapter 2
Please ask before using characters! (Unless it’s my sis using Celesta)
She looked around to see a full-sized bed with a bed-side table next to it, with a lamp. There was a small window with a floral curtain. She immediately put the blind shutters down and pulled the curtain in the way of the window, since she was deathly afraid of heights. She never showed it, for she feared that would make her seem weak.Â
She checked the two doors on the right of the room. One was a bathroom and one was a closet. The bathroom contained one bath and shower, a toilet and a sink with a faucet with soap. She splashed cold water on her face to test out the faucet. Seemed it was working just fine.Â
After exiting the bathroom, she noticed something. On her bed, Â there was a backpack and a locker key. There was also a box with air-holes in it,it smelled of honey and rose-hips, and the scent was relaxing. The thing that wasn't relaxing was that the box was shaking, and Cassidia could hear something using all the curse words in the dictionary.Â
Cassidia carefully, piece by piece, took the tape off. She took a deep breath before opening the box. When she did, she got hit in the face by an invisible being!Â
She fell over on her back and felt some thing stand on her chest. It grabbed her shirt and said, “I see you're weak! Show me the one who took me captive, and I'll let you live.” Cassidia tried to gain focus on what was happening, but she could barely keep her eyes open since the smell from the box was too strong.Â
“Wait, wait, what? Weak?” She picked up the being by what she hoped was the back of it's shirt. She held up her hand to the being prepared to flick it's head off at any moment. “Show yourself, or you're dead.”
The being faded into existence, and you could see the stubbornness in the process. Cassidia presumed it was female “What's your name?” She began to stand up.
“My name's Allicana.” She looked away from Cassidia, out of embarrassment.Â
“What's making that smell?” She pointed to the box in which the creature had come.
“It's suppose to be a gas to keep me from tearing through the cardboard,” She saw the continuing confusion on her face. “It's called Malamon. Not fun stuff if you're doing an all-nighter. Made from herbs only found in my world, usually used to put kids to sleep.”
“What are you? And what do you mean, 'Your world'?” This was all very bizarre, and Cassidia wanted answers. She used the tape to keep the strange being down, and tossed the box out the window, trying to shut it casually. She walked back to the tiny girl, who was about three and half inches tall.
Allicana answered in an alien language, sighed with frustration, and retried. “You guys call us Zullas. We are beings that about every year, in the Season of Young, we get captured, boxed up, sprayed with Malamon, and never seen again. We can fly, and compared to you, have hundreds of IQ points more than you idiots. We can smell you morons coming, and we have even figured out a way to stop our own smell without being barbarians, just as an example.Â
“Our world is called Anquite. It used to be merged thoroughly with yours, but you guys—I know it's cheesy, but stay with me here—stopped believing in natural forces like us, and we split like what you call a banana,” This is where Cassidia burst into giggles. “What? It's the truth!”
Between laughter, Cassidia claimed, “I guess we have to start believing in you pixie-things again to bring them back together?! Oh my Lord,” She could not stop laughing.
“Hey! Get back here!” Marcus was desperately trying to control his Zulla, Garmak, who was zipping around the room shouting, “I found Mr. Saturn! I fooooooound him~!” In a sing-song tone while swatting at flies with Marcus's student card.Â
“Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!” He flew up to Marcus and smooched him on the nose. “I love you!” This made Marcus very flustered.
Marcus grabbed Garmak out of the air. “Why the heckie did you kiss me?!” He did an overhand toss with the little boy as the ball. Instead of the cretin hitting the wall, it grabbed his sleeve and made both fall over, and the sunglasses that he always wore fell off Marcus's eyes.
“Oooh! Mr. Saturn has--” Marcus silenced him. He instantly pulled his sunglasses back on his face. “Who is 'Mr. Saturn'?”Â
“You are! They showed me a picture of you and said to help you! They said you were nice and talks a lot!” Garmak squirmed constantly in the fist holding him. “They also said to call you Mr. Marcusses!”
“Marcus. One 'S'. Marcus.” He was extremely frustrated with the little guy, even if he was cute. He dropped the little brunette on the floor, changed into his uniform, and checked the clock.
Garmak tilted his head. “Marcus has panda undies!” He flew onto Marcus's bedside table and began to chant it. “Marcus has panda undies~ Marcus had panda undies~” He swayed his fingers as if conducting an orchestra.Â
Teresa had found herself  in a poking match with her Zulla, Charloc. It was constant, but had a rhythm. Bum-bum. Bum-bum. Bum—WHUMP! Charloc had grabbed Teresa's finger and flipped her over by it.
“Check-mate,” He stated in his monotone, bass voice. “Try again?”
Teresa shook her head. “Alright, your voice is starting to really freak me out.” She got up and went in to the bathroom to take a shower. No towels. She could have sworn that they were there half a second ago.... “Charloc, what are you...” She turned to face the mischievous boy holding the towels captive.  He was wearing a stubborn look on his face.
“Hello,” He said that like a horror-movie murderer. “I suppose you would like these towels. Well, you can't get them.” He stuck out his tongue. God, this kid was like a five-year-old. A tiny, melodramatic, bass-toned, five-year-old. And Teresa would never show it, but she loved it.
Cassidia hadn't gotten it all figured out yet, but she was currently on the floor, (again,) with Allicana suffocating her with poisonous herbs. The choking was quiet and the Zulla was jumping on the herbs to get them farther down her throat. Â
Celesta had heard the thud of when Cassidia had received the a kick to the face. She slammed open the door dramatically, and her Zulla, Loku, nodded with satisfaction. Taking over the situation, Loku held his tan fingers to the sides of his swaying brown hair. Allicana's eyes flared red as she floated off of her victim. As her eyes turned back to their usual gray she inhaled and struggled to keep herself in the air as Celesta struggled to bring her younger sister back to life obliging to all her Zulla's instructions. Little known to all the other siblings, this is what all students and their matching Zullas should be like.Â
“Mission complete, you may proceed to explain in human terms what we Zullas are for, as we have done with the other nestlings.” He of course meant brother and sisters. He didn't respect the humans, or their language, simply since he could control them at a whim. He didn't respect anyone with lower intelligence than himself, which he thought was basically everyone.
Celesta rolled her hazel eyes and explained. “Loku says that he and all other Zullas are brought to our dimension to help all students at this academy. There are only half the types of Zullas as there are Heroes, though, only the main types. Light: They know herbs and are the most popular. They favor the Nature side of Light, rather than Pure. They have extreme mood swings. They will never listen to reason, but are kind when it is needed.Â
“Dark: They favor Corrupt to Beast. They are nearly silent, and are extremely mischievous, but they think it righteous. They have strength to match their mischief, and will use it any chance they get.Â
“Man's idea,” She paused to make sure they were following. “They use Psychic rather than Electric. Unlike most Zullas, they,” She lowered her voice, “Aren't that tough, but gosh are they egotistical.” Raising her voice a bit more, she continued. “They use their Psychic powers to temporarily control people.
“Lastly, we have the Misfits. They use Water out of Space, Fire, and Ice. They are constantly hyper and will state everything they find, as I heard from our brother's room. They are also weak, but have a spectacular will, I swear to god, do not get in an argument with them, it will come back to haunt you! Anyways, that is all.” She turned to leave with Loku, but she added, “Also, they're suppose to know your Hero name.” She whipped her wavy locks (most likely on purpose, to be silly,) and left.
Allicana shouted something in the language of the Zullas, hopefully at Loku. She scatter herbs across the border of the room, and muttered things under her breath. Thought thoroughly confused, Cassidia didn't question it. She was getting use to bizarre things now. The walls glowed with a pattern of falling leaves and then returned to the normal cream color. Some sort of spell to keep out intruders. That being Celesta's Zulla, freaky little thing.Â
That's when Cassidia noticed Allicana's eyes turning to the color of a stormy, polluted ocean. In fact, she was struggling to keep seemingly oceans of tears out of her eyes. She brought up her gaze, and made it seem like the oceans were burning into her very soul.Â
“It's your fault...” That's all she said before taking a deep breath and cringing. “You are Sun-Bleach, are you not? Oh to the heck with it, you are!” She summoned a ring with a white, pearl sun with an emerald swirl in it. “This... take it! I never want to see it again!” Frightened, the Hero obliged.  “It's nearly time for the meal you call dinner, I can smell the disgusting garbage you eat from here.” Glad to skip onto a different subject, Cassidia changed and hoped never tolakc mention this dramatic scene again. Instead if putting on the ring she was given, she shoved it in the pocket of the uniform. The shirt was a white blouse, only have the symbol on the front of the school on the pocket. Sweet, breast pocket!  On the skirt, it was plaid with orange, yellow and red. There was a fake pocket, and it even had a black button on it! She did a small bounce to see how she looked in it, and smiled. It looks like it was made for me! How ever...  She tied her shoulder-length hair into wavy pig tails. She smiled when she opened the door and left the dorm to her dinner.
Sun-bleach Chapter 1
Please ask before using characters! (Unless it's my sis using Celesta)
As you can imagine, it was quite odd seeing that kind of thing in the sky, and of that size not in the news, much less unnoticed. A glowing staircase. Right above a foster home. The children stared at each other and then the glowing staircase, then each other again.
“Where's Teresa? I thought she would be up by now.” Celesta asked Marcus.
“I'll go check, she said she'd be up in a few minutes, and it's been a few minutes.” He climbed down the ladder, and off the roof. “FOUND 'ER!” Cassidia rolled her eyes, she practically knew this would happen. Marcus guided Teresa up the ladder, while Teresa held an umbrella above her head.
“What's the umbrella for?” Celesta asked Teresa.
“I'm using it as a parasol,” She tries to sound charismatic. “The sun is really strong today, and you know I get sunburn--”
“Everybody quiet! Silencio, and all that jazz, let's just get on this glowing stair-way to Never-land!” Cassida interrupted, wanting to get things underway. Stowing the chatter, the four stepped foot on the sun-beam stairs.
However the group was soon exhausted by the time they were half way up the stairs. They all sat and had a break. “I wish we had packed food...” Cassidia complained. She picked up a lone pebble, and threw it off the stairs.
“HeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!” A girl screamed as she fell toward the pebble at immense speed. Cassidia jumped, and almost fell off too. Everyone present looked down at the girl who was racing toward the pebble. She never stopped....moving. She had stopped falling, but had started rising on a disc with the same speed with witch she fell. She came to a stop right next the siblings place on the stairs. “What are you thinking?! I need that pebble for world-destruction-prevention class!” This mysterious girl was blonde and wore a skin-tight suit that was yellow, and had a black lighting symbol on the back, along with black zig-zags along the sides.
“World-whata-what?” Marcus asked, bemused.
The girl sighed while gently putting her hand against her forehead. “You're new, aren't you?” They all nodded.
“You don't know what this school is do ya?” The girl summoned more discs like the one she was standing on.
“No, we didn't even know it was a school,” Teresa said, sounding a bit confused.
“Well, it is, hon, and you better get used to it.” The blonde said and smacked Teresa's back. “By the way, the name's Alice. Sorry, you're stop's coming up. I'll let the principal fill you in.” All of them shook hands with her after she pointed out the school.
“Well, thanks for giving us a ride, Alice.” Cassidia said, thanking the bizarre girl.
“Yeah, yeah.” She flew, off continuing her assignment. The quartet stared up at the large main building after Alice had left. It was white with a faceless man in a cape, and the cape it was labeled 'C-AH'. The walls felt like one big tile. They entered.
It was cold and empty in the hallway, and the main office was nowhere to be seen.
“Please, all new students report to the door to your right.” An overhead ordered. Cassidia shrugged, and looked to her right. No door. In fact, there were no doors on the right side of the first floor at all. Of course, this confused the group of four.
“Hey, guys, heh, check this out,” Cassida said as she walked over to the wall. “Mr. Principal, helloooooo?” She daintily knocked on the wall. Then the wall peeled off to reveal all the doors that should have been there before, including the main office.
“Yes?” The principal looked at her through the window in the door. Cassidia just stood there wide-eyed.
She jumped back into action. “I'm really sorry Mister... um.. Sorry!” She covered her face in embarrassment, hoping to be forgiven. This happened every time she did something like this on accident.
“Call me Principal Markaro. Now come in to my office.” The principal said opening the door.
Nervously the kids shuffled on in.
The office was dark, for it being the third day of Autumn. There was a single desk and four chairs, for four kids. The chairs for the students looked cold and uncomfortable, while the principal's looked like heaven, but maybe it was only by comparison. There was a single candle, but it was a cheap flame-less one. There was no way to get in or out besides the door.
“Is this a closet? Or are we about to get tortured for your fun?” Marcus asked. Behind him, Cassidia and Celesta face-palmed simultaneously.
Markaro sighed and said, “This is my office, where I will tell you about this school. Sit while I tell you.
“Our school teaches super heroes that are up and coming how to do the job as one. You may think this would be only a two to three months training, right? Well, many things may go wrong during the Process. You may become accustomed to winning, or have yourself corrupted by jealousy, oh too many things to name. It takes years before being a professional, and more than that to even have comics named after you!
“There is a chance to turn back, and it can go two ways. Either you can have your memory of this place erased or you can never speak of this place again. I would suggest having your memory wiped, since if you do talk about this place, you will seem mad.” He opened a drawer in his desk. “What do you choose?”
“Wait a second, why are we here?” Marcus looked suspiciously at Markaro through the old sunglasses he always wore. “Why us?”
Markaro hesitated. “Your powers have been picked up on the sensors we have set,” He put his hand gently in the drawer. “Now, what do you choose?”
The choice was quite easy for our heroes: Stay. The four all shook hands with the principal, and were now official students of Crisis Aversion High.
“Now you get your uniforms, schedules, student cards, and maps.” Markaro said handing each of them theirs. “Before you get started, you need to take some tests, so go to the door across from this room.”
Celesta was the first to get there, she was eager to see what she knew, like always. The rest purposely slowed since they weren't really excited about tests. When they got in the room, an electronic voice said “ Please separate, about arms length apart,” The group shuffled awkwardly away from each other, but when they finished, walls appeared between them!
“Whoa!” Cassidia exclaimed as suddenly as the walls appeared. Her eyes dashed around the room, but detected no sign of life. She put her items down and called out, “Hello? Got any more orders for me?”
“Figure out this puzzle,” A light blazed bright, while the rest of the room went dark. Cassidia cringed at the sight of it, she began to get sick of really quickly. Then, with a light-bulb moment, she turned around, so she would not face the light. The second she did, another light lit up in her face, but the other one shut off. Cassidia closed her eyes, thinking of what to do next.
She rolled up her sleeve, walking toward the light, and punched the source of it! The effect of this was extreme pain causing Cassidia to scream out loud. She ripped the shards right of her hand. The blood spilled out of her hand rapidly, but she grabbed her Uniform and pressed it down, then wrapping it around her hand.
“You're an idiot,” The electronic voice declared. “I would have unscrewed the bulb, not get my self a bad wound.”
Cassidia rolled her eyes. “You're a machine, you would just have the light shine on you.” She said nonchalantly.
“You're also going to be a an easy one,” The machine claimed. “You have passed the test, we have determined your Type.” The machine the continued as the walls disappeared. Cassidia saw her brother and sisters completing more tests. Except for Teresa, she was having some sort of mental-breakdown over the light. She was curled up in a ball with her ridiculously long, wavy black hair, while she was making all levels of Hell in hissing noises.
“MAAAAAAAAKE IT STOOOOOOOOP!” She kept screaming it in between hisses. The turned the light off and made her walls vanish. The same mechanical voice told her that her Type was selected. And that she could get up now. A robotic hand shoved her to Cassidia, she could console Teresa.
Celesta was on the third test with voice, and was doing fairly well. She was tough to declare a type for, but the calculations were in the works
“Ugh, solve this test.” The walls began to close in, and she was only given a wrench to stop it. Celesta simply unscrew the pistons that were pushing the walls towards her. She held the screws between her fingers stylishly. The machine's voice sighed in frustration.
Celesta's walls lowered and the machine said: “Your type has been determined, smarticles.” Celesta gave a “Whoohoo!” and jumped in the air.
Marcus, if you had been worried at all, had started a conversation with the machine, which made it forget to keep the light on. He quite enjoyed it, and had forgotten what he was supposed to be, in fact, doing. He got up, stretched and said; “Well, I should be on my way now,” He picked up his belongings and the machine lifted up the walls.
“Oh, yes certainly.” Just as he was about to leave, the machine added, “Make sure to come by again.”
“What are you guys up to?” Marcus asked the girls. He had his hands on his hips and his belongings in the crook of his elbow, like the sassy little boy he was.
“Well, I'm bleeding heavily, Teresa's having a mental-breakdown, and Celesta has a bunch of screws.” Cassidia reported in a half-sarcastic tone. It was all true, of course, but Marcus simply whistled and opened the door out of the testing room for his sisters.
After their tests, the children checked their class-cards. As it turned out, they were electronic!
Along with a picture of her, Cassidia's card read:
Cassidia [N/A]
Type: Light, Pure
Classes:
Period 01: Persuasion and Durability [Comiction], 8:30
Period 02: Transformation[Lolimaka], 9:20
Period 03: Attack Practice[Aberay], 10:10
Lunch, 11:00
Period 04: Physical Adaptation[Karp], 11:30
Period 05: Power Balancing[Gapto], 12:20
Period 06: World-destruction Prevention[Abno], 1:30
Dorm 8305
“Wow,” Cassidia said. “I wonder what Period it is right now.”
As is on cue, a loud bell rang, announcing lunch.
As students gushed out of all doors, the four children checked their maps and rushed to the lunchroom themselves.
“Hello, there,” A quiet voice said to Cassidia.
Cassidia turned to face the voice, and saw a girl who seemed to be in a butterfly-princess costume! Cassidia had to restrain herself from laughing too hard. This is too much! The girl looked away.
“Sorry! Let me change out of my super-hero costume. It's just so comfortable and nice... Oh, I'm rambling aren't I?!” Cassidia just kept piling on the food that was offered on the lunch line. The girl who was barely attempting to talk to her seemed to be the only one at her height and even when she had taken off her costume, still had antenna. When she finally got to the end of the line, a woman halted her,
“Lunch card?” The woman asked. Cassidia blinked. She hadn't received one, neither had any of her siblings. The woman persisted, “Did you hear me? Give me your lunch card.”
All the while, Marcus questioned Alice while her electric blue eyes skittered across the room. “Was Mr. Markaro as creepy as he was to you as was to you?” His intense sunglasses would not move from the spot.
“He wasn't creepy at all! He just told me what the school was about, and I went with it. My dad did, so did Grandma, besides! I'm a second year! You missed the first day of school yesterday...”
Just as Marcus was about to launch another question like a missile, Teresa put her pale hand between them. “You're freaking her out, stop it.” Her stern eyes would not give.
“Sorry ma'am, but I--” The lunch-lady burst out laughing before Cassidia could finish her sentence.
The 'lunch-lady' morphed into a young, skinny boy who was in a costume similar to Violet's from The Incredibles, with the exception that it was blue and black striped with an 'F' in the middle.
With the young boy still cackling like a hyena, the Butterfly-girl scolded him. “That wasn't very nice and you know it, Chris. Newbies shouldn't be corrupted on their first day.”
“What?” Cassidia was confused. First of all: She just got puncked by a kid in blue and black spandex, and second; food was free?! She thought she was good for only one day, and then she had to get a job.
“C'mon, Adressa, it's all in good fun! Loose up!” He grabbed Cassidia in a head-lock. “Eh, we're buddies, ain't we?” His grip was surprisingly tight, since his voice was so warm and light-hearted.
Speaking of warm things, it was beginning to get too warm for her, so Cassidia packed quite the punch when she drove her elbow into Chris's stomach. With her lunch-tray in hand, she ran to the table where her siblings were sitting.
“Sorry I'm late guys, just got in a sticky situation.” She sat down and picked up the sandwich she had chose. As she took a bite, the girl who was apparently named Adressa tapped her on the shoulder.
“Hey, um, can I sit with you guys? I'm usually alone--” She stopped for two reasons: One; she had scared Cassidia so that she nearly choked on her food, and two she saw Alice at their table. “I have to go...” She shifted her sparkling green eyes.
“No, stay, really.” Alice said. She patted a place for Adressa. “Sit.”
Adressa backed away, whimpered and shook her head. “No thanks, I'm fine.”
Adressa suddenly dropped her lunch tray and snapped her fingers beside her head. The young girl had disappeared and was replaced by butterflies. Alice sighed and clapped a hand to her face. It was Addressa's escape out of bad situations, and she used it often. Too often, it was a really bad cop-out. Alice continued her lunch, and tried to get that crazy girl out of her head.
Since Cassidia had finally stopped choking, she bit into her sandwich once more, shaking her head that whipped her short brown hair. Too much action for one day... I need a break.

Sun-bleach Prologue
Please ask before using my characters (Unless it's my sis and she's using Celesta)
The fifth child was boy by the name of Silco. He saw it during the day, while being punished for something he had not done. Of course, by now, he was used to seeing strange things. He was also used to being blamed for something he didn't do. When he had seen it, he convinced himself it was a hallucination from being in the sun too long. Of course, he was wrong.
The group of siblings were excited the next day when they found a way to get up there, that's where our story began, that morning...
So, if you followed my old personal blog, (probs not) I was writing a novel, and I still am, it is called Sun-bleach. I will resume posting on here, so I would appreciate giving it a read, plus some editing tips and recommendations! I will be posting it by chapter.
