As for Sun Luyu’s execution, the brief explanation is that some people tried to assassinate Sun Jun, and Sun Luban was able to pin it on Sun Luyu so she was executed. Given her role in the Crown Prince affair, she might have even been guilty, though malevolence on Luban’s part is equally likely.

Sun Luyu: The younger sister of Sun Luban and daughter of Sun Quan and Bu Lianshi. Kind and generous compared to her sister, she tried everything in her power to stop her and Sun Jun from taking control of Wu. However, Sun Luban thwarted with a plot and Luyu was killed due to the machinations of her sister.
