The King’s track record with dragons might be kind of a mixed bag (to put it lightly) but this doesn’t stop him from taking a tour of the Forest King’s castle when it’s offered to him. Hey, if he's stuck in this place for the time being, he might as well get some sightseeing (and a free dinner!) in.

(It’s not as if he’s planning to steal anything from here. Probably. Not unless he has to.)

Either way, for now he’s more than content with just walking the halls with a small group. They seem like a normal bunch of mortals so he barely pays attention to any of them, at least until he catches sight of something yellow and fluffy swaying in the air. Now that’s interesting. Humming lightly, he falls to the back to walk alongside the kid... demon, maybe?

“Hmmm....this isn’t it either. This is more along the line of a soul-sucking curse than a erosion curse. It’ll just cause more pain than relieving it.” Joey muttered to himself while putting down another book, just one more from the huge pile he’s made over the past five hours since he ended up at the library. He was hoping to look for some process in his own research, but it proved to be uneventful...like before. If only he hadn’t lost his book with all his notes...

Sitting back, he rubbed his temples with a slight groan from the growing headache. Maybe he should’ve stopped while he was ahead. This wasn’t all that needed to be done today after all. Maybe he’s been too enthusiastic with all of this lately. He needed to slow down, or he’ll work himself to the ground. 

As if a sign from somewhere came for that exact reason, his phone started buzzing while stuck in its vibrate mode. Picking up, he raised an eye at the caller ID from his blurred eyes before realizing who it was and answering.

While it’s true that Ren isn’t the most sociable of people, he still tends to be a friendly enough person in passing, and meets many people through mutual friends. Living with Jaune in the dorms for over a year now, he’s gotten to know a fair amount of people, one such person being Sun, for the time being more Jaune’s friend than his. Though Sun can be a little bit...wild so to speak, him and Ren still tend to get along pretty well unsurprisingly as Sun as probably one of the more friendly people you’ll ever meet.

Noticing the same blonde walking around casually, Ren gives him a casual wave before slowly approaching him. It’s always nice having even just casual conversations, at least in his mind. To him, it’s always worth putting in a little bit of extra effort with a friend of a friend.
