Records Have been Broken Guys!
If youāre a regular here or a new friend Iād like to congratulate you because these past few days have been record breaking:
Thatās right, 1,500+ were on the website yesterday!Ā
Before the 24th, Iād barely broken 300 people on the website in a day and on thanksgiving I was able to give thanks for some actual serious traffic on the website! And look at the blog posts that did it:
Archer, Peanuts and Bobās Burgers, with a little twitter commentary on the side. Itās just crazy and Iām so excited. Though, between this and the thanksgiving food, Iāve let a lot of my freelance jobs go by the wayside because Iām just obsessively looking at google analytics 24/7(though these screenshots are from sumo.me and theyāre fantastic you should use them) - so Iām gonna try to chill so I can get some more work done. BUT THIS IS SO EXCITING AND THANK YOU.Ā
reddit. I used reddit. This is a message- if you want to write about something, find a subreddit that you can post it in. Follow the rules, donāt be a dick and maybe donāt read into the comments too much sometimes.Ā
November 24th is when I really hardcore started posting on there. I also added one blog post to stumble upon and I seem to be getting teeny tiny amounts of traffic from there too. Itās exciting though.Ā
I posted the Archer post both in r/archer and r/cocktails and I have to admit I didnāt realize that the recipes I got from the food network channel were just awful and I know that now.Ā
Bobās Burgers was only in the r/bobsburgers, Peanuts was in r/peanuts and r/movies. The oh joyce one actually was one of my firsts and didnāt bring that crazy amounts of traffic but was posted in r/offbeat. The place that I discovered that reddit advertising could be a thing was the css/tumblr post I posted in r/web_design.Ā
So this is all very exciting and Iām pumped to see what happens. Iām going dark until Sunday and weāll see where this train is a-going.Ā
