Two gorgeous women, sun-kissed and sand-covered, lying side by side on the beach like a perfectly curated summer postcard.

A) Casually pretend you didn’t see it and nervously walk on.
B) Take a deep breath and accept that life just peaked.
C) Take out your phone and make sure you had a snapshot to remember this by.
Well, here’s the story.
Shooting with Layla and Rocío was an adventure in itself. One speaks only English, the other only Spanish. Which meant I spent the whole afternoon playing photographer and translator, giving every single direction twice. “A little to the left—un poco a la izquierda. Arch your back—arquea la espalda.” Not the easiest shoot, but damn, was it fun.
Layla was here on holiday and was dying to shoot. Rocío drove 45 minutes from a town outside Valencia just for this. And despite the language barrier, the photos? Pure summer magic.
