Do you prefer Lea or Axel?
Like, name wise? What would i prefer to call him?
Axel. BECAUSE I FUCKING GOT IT MEMORISED. DON’T YOU FUCKING TELL ME YOU’RE LEA NOW JUST BECAUSE YOUR FAKE TATTOOS WASHED OFF.
IT’S WEIRD NOW???? like, okay i personally prefer Axel because I know Axel as the wily-sly-but-socially-and-friendship-inept-badass who fucked up everything he cared about because he had this previous plan with Saix. That’s him, that’s what makes Axel Axel and why i love him so much because he fucked up and he wants to redeem himself.
On the other hand, I know Lea as the shorter, super dorky little puppy who plays with frisbees, and that Lea is also what makes Axel who he is. I don’t know anything more about Lea other than the fact he doesn’t know how to dress himself or choose a good haircut. Also, when people say Lea, I picture Lea with Isa and Ventus. When people say Axel, I picture Axel with Roxas and Xion. the names mean more about time frame and their appearance than anything else @_@;; It’s kind of hard tho, because I know the name Axel carries kind of a dark, morbid connotation just because Lea died and came back with the name Axel, but his character that we’re introduced to is what makes Axel. My brain hurts.
then again he did pull that fucking “DARK RESCUE IS MY MIDDLE NAME LOL” thing so it’s clear he’ll never grow out of his super dorkiness, for which i’m glad, but YEAH WHO KNOWS MAYBE I’LL ONE DAY GET USED TO CALLING HIM LEA IF THAT’S WHAT KH3 IS GONNA TRY TO PUSH, BUT UNTIL THEN I’M GOING TO BE GRUMBLING ABOUT IT and call him Axel until the end of time.
