05-31 THIRD DAY

Today it's time to make the most of every bit of Boracay.

We woke up early and the weather is a bit rainy and windy and the sun is not shining. We took our last breakfast beside the beach and we finally got our Helmet diving DVD. Since it was our last day we wanted to spend it for buying pasalubongs and have our last swim at the beach. So after breakfast we hurry up and went to dMall and bought our pasalubongs after it we got the chance to swim with the big waves. 

I was able to see my pep mate and flyer Mika! She was also checked-in the same hotel that we are staying! Haha. Small world! :D

We had to be in the boat at 2pm so after packing our stuffs we hurry to station 1 to look for the muffin that my sister Tep told us to never miss. We've been walking and walking and after several minutes we finally found the famous Kalamansi Muffin of Real Coffee which is inside an eskinita located at station 1 Boracay. Box of six is worth  285 and it is so special and in demand that they only cook when someone order for it. Well the taste is really good, for me it was like cheesecake in a muffin! :D

By 7pm our plane took off Kalibo airport and arrived at Manila by 7:45pm. :)

05-30 SECOND DAY 

Today our goal was to have FUN in BORACAY! 

We woke up at 8am and took our breakfast after it we didn't waste any time and went HELMET DIVING for 400 pesos per head. Kind of pricey but it already includes the DVD of the videos and pictures underwater, plus the amazing experience where you will have a close encounter with Nemo, Dory and all their other classmates in school! haha! Cute harmless fishes! :p

Unlike my first time in Boracay the water sports are now located on the other side of the island to prevent the beauty of the beach front. So we had to walk for about 5 minutes and take a boat ride to the middle of the sea to do the helmet diving. 

When we got in the floating platform in the middle of the sea, the professional divers oriented all the helmet divers in able for us to be prepared and aware of what are the do's and don'ts inside the 25kilos helmet under the 20 feet water. DO NOT FORGET: After placing the helmet the divers will assist us to go down the water and when you feel the pressure, pop your ears then make the okay sign and off you go walking under the sea! :D

After Helmet Diving we went swimming at Station 2. We were lucky because the sun is not beaming that day.

After lunch we went to the Sun Village Spa. We took a shuttle service because we had to go up hill where it is located. The place is very quiet and relaxing, it's as if you stepped into another place like Bali. We met Kiko and Anton, the two adorable doggy who's living there and we also took a dip in their swimming pool! :D

We went straight to dTalipapa popularly known as the Boracay wet market located at station 3, by that time the weather was not good, the wind was strong and there is no sign of sun in the island but we were still positive on seeing station 3 and in fairness the people were still enjoying the beach and the big waves! :D

If you want cheaper souvenirs then it's better to buy at the dTalipapa though you have to deal with the smell of fishes and the wet floor. After buying some stuffs there we went back to station 2 where we played in the sand in-front of our hotel.

This night we craved for pizza and pasta so we went to station 2 and ate at Shakey's for dinner then we decided to buy some souvenirs at dMall and did not miss the fire dancers at station 1. The show was still amazing even though we watched it for the second time. To end our night we had a cup of coffee at Starbucks and had a good bonding time until the shop closes at 12am. :D

I love this shop where you can buy bulks of accessories for a cheap price. Obvious naman sa mukha ko na eager ako maghanap diba? haha! :)) got six bracelets for a hundred pesos! :D

We are a big fan of this eiffel tower! Ganda! I want something like this in my future house! :))

We thought that since this Starbucks is located at Boracay the prices will also increase but it didn't. Same coffee, same price! :D 

May 29 to 31 marks the last days of summer for me and I spent it wisely at BORACAY! :D

I remember when I was in first year highschool I went to Boracay for the first time with my family, and Boracay then was like heaven, super fine white sand, crystal clear water and breath taking beach view, just so perfect! But this time, after 8 years or more, I was expecting big changes, dramatic that I might feel bad about the huge leap Boracay has become. But when I got there and saw how beautiful Boracay is, it's still the same, the water is crystal clear and the sand still fine and white. The beach view? still breath taking, I feel like i'm inside a post card. The difference? almost everything inside the island is commercialized.  Once you got yourself in the island hindi ka na mawawala o magugutom o mawawalan ng titirahan, lahat na ata ng meron sa Manila meron sila, add up the Korean stores, small amusement park, zip line, zorb park, huge luxurious hotels, branded boutiques like nothing but waters to the thrift shops and many more.

Sabe ko nga sa tita ko, pwede ka pala pumunta ng Boracay na walang dala, sarili mo lang at maraming-maraming pera siguradong buhay ka at enjoy pa! :)) 

05-29 FIRST DAY

Early flight to Kalibo at 6am. I was so happy I will be able to fly again after a long time! I love riding the air bus because I am able to see the wonderful geographic view of our country's islands and have a close encounter with my used to be "cotton candy" clouds, haha! :))

After the 45 minutes air travel we are in Kalibo and its another 2 hours travel via bus to the port.

then another 15 minutes boat ride and hello BORACAY island! :D

Because the port is now located at the back of the beach every tourist have their own shuttle service that will bring you to your hotel and for us we were dropped off to "d Mall" because our hotel is located 2 blocks beside it. As I mentioned earlier Boracay is now very commercialized ang dame nang mga infrastructures and isa na dito ang d Mall or also known as the Boracay mall where everything is there! Mall kung mall pero beach setting! Cool! :D

10:30 am we were at the Sun Village and as their customary welcome free pucca shells necklace and iced tea shake! Sarap! :D

Chill inside our room then free lunch! :D Yum! :)

After our heavy lunch it's time to enjoy the beach, first day's first stop: STATION 1

but before anything else, HENNA TATTOO with my beach buddies, Pot, Jen and Juancho! :p

My sister and his boyfriend Juancho who instantly joined our trip when he heard about it. Spending the last days of summer together daw eh. PBB Teens? :))

It's time to recharge after a long day swimming so for dinner we ate at the Sun Village's Mongolian restaurant. The food was great but it actually depends on your mixing skills! :D 

After dinner we went craving for something sweet so we went to dMall and looked for something new. Halowich caught our attention because there's a crowd of people are busy buying their sundaes so we tried it too. The sundae was worth 150 pesos, composed of fruits, ice cream and many more it is like halo-halo with ice cream and syrup on top! Tastes really good but too expensive for a sundae.

We spent the rest of the night at station 1 where we watched the famous fire dancers. Swear, these fire dancers are the best! Sa Boracay lang ako nakawitness ng super galing and super aliw panoorin! :D They do not only dance because majority of them are gays they also perform comedy acts that makes them more appealing to the audience. Ang tip basket nila, punong-puno, well super galing naman kasi nila kaya worth the tip naman! :D This is one of the "must not miss in BORACAY", siguradong kumpleto ang gabi mo if you will be able to watch them! Galing at aliw, super! :D
