it became a tradition for sage and sullivan  to make a stop at the candy shop they met at all those years ago on their first night in paris. they had decided to go to paris just over 24 hours ago, talking about how they missed it and wanted to go back. when sage jokingly said they should go tomorrow, he should have known that sullivan was going to get them tickets. he should know his boyfriend better than to just say something like that about their city, sullivan had the means to just buy plane tickets and made hotel reservations on the fly. he woke sage up way too early for any human being to be up and excitedly exclaimed that he bought them tickets. so they left. 

now, here they are getting ready to go out for their first night in paris. sage felt different, he couldn’t explain it. being in paris always made him feel happy but there was just a different. while sullivan was in the bathroom doing his hair and getting ready, sage put a small box in his pants pocket before sul was done. maybe tonight was the night? walking around with the ring for over a month now was hard. especially since they were living together. he was worried sullivan would find it or if he acted too weird sul would ask what was wrong. but maybe he wouldn’t have to worry for much longer. “are you almost ready, babe?” sage asks as he makes his way to the bathroom. he still has to button up his shirt and put on shoes, so there’s really no rush. he opens the door and smiles at his boyfriend.
