A thin line split the air, a thread of cursed energy made to cleave.
That same delicate line made itself known across Satoshi’s cheek, dissolving into thin air as red started to bloom in its path.
“..Boring?” he repeated, voice slow. Sukuna will commend him, he has guts for a throwaway twin. For clawing his own place in the world and sticking there. Brave, or stupid?
A heel slammed forward. One stride, two.
That's all it took before Sukuna was right in front of Satoshi, the white-haired sorcerer barely reaching his chest. A clawed hand shot out and seized his face- rough, fingers digging into his jaw, tilting his head up forcibly as crimson eyes burned down into his.
“Watch,” Sukuna murmured, thumb pressing just slightly against the fresh cut, smearing red along Satoshi’s skin, “your tongue.”
His grip tightened, almost entranced at how red seemed to bead up at the corner of the cut, before running down smooth skin.
For how blue his eyes were, red suited Satoshi very well.
“Don’t mistake my fascination for need,” he continued, voice low and edged in steel. “I may want you at my side out of convenience,” His nails pressed faintly into Satoshi’s skin. “But do not delude yourself into thinking I require you.”
His eyes flicked at the blood staining his own finger, before smearing it across Satoshi’s lips. A smile, not kind, not endearing, graced the king’s lips once more. Amusement and something he could never name brimming in his cold chest.
“I could split you in half just as easily, little wolf.” he whispers. “Don’t forget.”
Warmth spilt over his cheek. Satoshi hardly flinched. But his breath hitched. Not from fear.
Definitely not from fear.
As the sorcerer-made-curse invaded his personal space, towered over him, Satoshi's heart stuttered. Stopped. When Sukuna's calloused touch gripped his jaw and raised it so that his neck craned and he was forced to stare up at the behemoth. Manhandled like it was nothing.
Blue eyes fluttered. Just a bit. Lashes batting like the wings of a butterfly as the claw bit into his skin. It stung. It was sweet.
He'd always been a glutton for pain.
“No,” he spoke, voice low. Not threatening, but even. “No, of course not. I don't think the King of Curses himself needs me.”
As the thumb swiped over his lips, Satoshi's pupils dilated. His throat bobbed, just barely, before he.
He leaned. Into the monster's touch. Blue stare fixed onto those bloodbaths that he called eyes. Like a damn mutt who didn't know the difference between a cradle and a claw.
Pale lips pressed to Sukuna's thumb.
Stare still fixed. Eyes unblinking. As his pierced tongue slipped out and he slowly, slowly, dragged it over Sukuna's thumb. Swiping the metallic taste of his own blood over his tastebuds. As he shuddered. As his breath stuttered.
“But you want me, don't you?” He cooed, lashes batting once more.
“Like you said. You could split me in half. So tell me,” his face presses further into Sukuna's claws. “Is it really my convenience that fascinates you? Enough for you to come here and find me?”
