I bleed a scarlet red,

that it pours out lightly

over things they've done or said?

Do you think they know

the tears still flow,

that the past effects the present with a red satin bow?

Do you think they know 

behind the smile lay 

a girl a broken pile?

Do you think they know

silver separates blood from vein,

that crimson drops from anger an pain?

do you think they know your broke,

"Calm down -" they say "it was only a joke"

blood pours down faster than tears

Do they know you've been screaming, yelling, calling out all these years?

                                    Of course not.
