Oh my god I read your Subspace breeding/pregnancy freak post and that shit is SO GOOD I'VE NEVER READ A BETTER PHIGHTING SMUT IDEA THAN THAT. YOU NEED TO WRITE AN ONESHOT OF IT OR ANYTHING I SWEAR. I'LL GIVE YOU BOTH OF MY KIDNEYS AND MANY FANART FOR IT!!!!
🧬 = SUBSPACE X HUMAN!READER = 💉 🧬"My Legacy"💉
Warnings: Some Non-Con (not the sexual kind) and Unethical Experiments (It's SUBSPACE bruh)
A/N: Not gonna lie, I forgot what post this ask was talking about...I assume it's about Subspace making his own offspring via genetic manipulation like Mewtwo if I remember correctly? I'm going with that, cause that's the post I remember lol

Subspace wasn't known for being ethical to Blackrock's prisoners, and he certainly wasn't the type to ask for permission or to say "please" when he wanted something. No. When he wanted something, he would take it regardless of what the opposing party would have to say about it.
Experimenting on the only "Hornless" that Blackrock managed to acquire through their prototype warp-gates was no different. They resisted experimentation, obviously, but Subspace was certain that he would break them once he was given enough time.
Slowly, but surely, the Hornless slowly lost their list and their rebellious nature with enough time and more experiments can finally be conducted on them and how they operate as a living being.
After all, a creature without horns would be dead in the Inpherno. So...how was THIS one still alive and how did it manage to live past the point of no return? That was what Subspace was there to originally find out...
Keyword being "originally".
Once Subspace began to dig into this new project he was handed by the higher ups of the Korblox Corporation, he began to slowly uncover things that showed that the Hornless was much more valuable than they appeared to be.
On the surface, they were nothing special. Weak, useless, not too bright, and completely gearless.
If it wasn't for their hornless appearance, they probably would have been "discarded" by the Korblox Administrators, and for once, Subspace was glad that they didn't toss something that appeared to be useless away so carelessly.
He had taken samples from the Hornless. LOTS of samples. What he found dwelling within those samples had intrigued him and captured his full attention the moment he discovered it.
There was LUA in their body. Pure god essence in its purest of forms.
That was when the sleepless nights began and the feverish research started. Subspace wanted to break down EVERY part of the Hornless in his clutches, as he wanted to know how they had the same essence that created all of Inphernal kind contained within their body.
Only one place had such a energy...and that was the Spawn Fountains themselves.
Night after night, Subspace researched and tore whatever he could from his Hornless subject to discover their secrets, and one happenstance seemed to catch a sudden large amount of intrigue from the scientist.
That was when he discovered a particular intriguing set of cells that seemed to be related to the Hornless's DNA. With a few more rounds of samples, lab tests, and researching...he discovered that these cells were the founding blocks of the proteins that assisted in creating life.
Recipes of numerous proteins, puzzles, codes, and organic-based chemicals were all laced on the inside of the codex and cells...and it fascinated the scientist.
Yet, that wasn't the catalyst to one of his most biggest breakthroughs of the science world that was known to Inphernals.
That came to Subspace as he tried to get some rest, as recommended by his medical biograft, but a sudden realization had struck him in the middle of the night.
If those cells were similar to the Spawn Fountains...would he be able to make life from those building blocks of proteins and chemicals that he could harvest from the Hornless? Would he be able to...lab GROW an Inphernal?
He didn't sleep at all that night, as his mind was alive and buzzing with the possibility of finding a probability of growing an Inphernal from complete scratch.
The moment Subspace got up and headed into his lab, he began to feverishly pick apart the cells and look for the Lua inside of those cells to develop a proper thesis.
Graft after graft, day after day, it was only once he understood the foundations of creation and the puzzles of life did Subspace finally want to see if an artificial Inphernal could truly inherit Lua from the Hornless...
And what better subject to test this hypothesis than himself?
A quick stab of a syringe, drawing of his own blood, and utilizing a few methods to separate his cells from their nuclei--did he finally begin the splicing process.
Days turned into weeks and Subspace kept up his experiments. Pulling pieces out of your DNA and meshing it with his to see what would come up from the cells mingling together. Meanwhile, he was also building a makeshift gestation tank for the eventual artificial offspring he would try to bring into the world.
Getting advice from the Hornless was helpful, as the experiment would need to be suspended in a fluid and have some life support while it developed, as per the Hornless's instructions.
Likewise, he began to develop a machine that would help automate the process of mingling the DNA, and the Lua, of the Hornless into the genes of an Inphernal. Plenty of resources were needed and lots of hours were put into the plan...but soon the time came.
The research of his bountiful lab had finally come to the point where he would see if he could reap the fruit of all of his hard labor months later from when he started the many projects on his journey to harvest Lua from his Hornless prisoner.
The large machine was hooked up to the few vats that waited nearby--full of suspension fluid and empty...waiting for a Lua-Blessed newspawn to fill the tube.
He took a vial of a purified sample of your DNA in one hand, and a vial of a purified sample of his OWN DNA in the other, before placing both into the machine's waiting slots.
The machine drained the vials and the computer screen quickly illuminated with a bright sheet of data that was randomizing variables, and Subspace could only hold his breath as the machine roared to life.
The machine's heavy draw from the Blackrock power grid caused the lights to flicker and strain, but the machine kept running. Loud noises and churning parts revved up from within the machine as Subspace looked on...and then the tube that led to the nearby vats was filled with a rush of bubbles.
Subspace quickly followed the bubbling mass as the machine began to wind down, and once the scientist had approached the first vat, did the small form of a successful Lua-Hybrid Inphernal float down into the tank.
Subspace couldn't believe his singular eye as the life supporting mechanisms of the vat came alive and latched onto the newspawn, providing it with oxygen, nutrients, and other important developmental supports.
It didn't move, but the screen on the tank quickly came alive and revealed the stable vitals of the newspawn that SUBSPACE created.
Even more shocking to the Inphernal, the floating hybrid almost looked like...him.
It had the same horns as him, the same color as him, and it even had his crystal star etched into its very skin. There were even pink markings on certain parts of the Inphernals body that caused him to worry if The Rot had spread to the newspawn, but the machine's vitals read the infant as being normal--much to his relief.
Subspace could only stare at the vat with the slumbering newspawn with a faint sense of...Pride? Relief? Joy? Subspace...didn't know what he was feeling at this moment in time.
It was a deeper feeling than one he had felt before...and one he had never experienced.
He knew that some Inphernals are always proud when they have a child with another Inphernal...but this felt so much more...carnal.
This child was not reared from his gear. This child...it came from his OWN flesh and blood. His own DNA. With a mix of the Hornless inside of the newspawn, it would no doubt have access to Lua...and it was carrying HIS genes.
Every carefully spliced gene, every positive attributes, every curated phenotype, and all the added purified parts of himself...
The first Lua-Infused Inphernal Hybrid ever created was carrying HIS genes. The first artificial god ever made...and he was the proud father of it.
Now Subspace understood what he was feeling.
Complete euphoria.
He had created something that made the very SPAWN FOUNTAINS THEMSELVES obsolete. He could now create a perfect newspawn with this machine and with the Hornless's DNA--completely cutting out the randomness of the Spawn Fountains in favor of making his own offspring.
Subspace can only take in a slow and shuddering breath before he reaches out with a singular hand and places it against the rubbery silicon of the fluid-filled vat.
Looking at the new developing life within with a deep look of adoration.
"My legacy..." Subspace whispers to himself.
