Hii! Feel free to ignore this if u don't feel like explaining, but I love your art and I'm wondering how you get that nice fuzzy/glowy look? Hope you're having a good day!!
once im finished with a drawing i merge everything onto one later, duplicate it and increase the saturation by a good bit and use the gaussian blur tool to make it a bit blurry, then lower the opacity to around 10%-20%. it gives the image a soft glow !

Already answered, but can I take a minute to gush about my half-elf druid? She goes by the name Pebble because she wandered into the woods as a toddler and canât remember what her name was before. So, when asked, she on the fly came up with what she assumed to be a very commonplace totally unsuspicious human-ish name: George Pebbleton. Or Pebble, for short. She was raised by bears (Horace and Bootsy; as you can see, she has a knack for naming things) and thus was a total wild child with very minimal human contact. Very chaotic, very sassy. Ugh, love her.
2) Your favorite character that someone else has played.
I love all my playersâ characters so much!! Iâm having a blast finding ways to work their respective backstories into the campaign world. And everyone is so good at sticking to character so itâs been fun to throw different things at them.
29) Do you prefer RP heavy sessions or combat sessions?
RP!!! As you can ask my party and they can tell you that weâve gone PLENTY of sessions without a single combat encounter. Of course combat is interesting, but I think itâs more fun to watch my players come up with more creative solutions than necessarily just murder. And even as a player, I always had more fun playing the chaotic gremlin than bashing an enemyâs head in. (Though the latter is always fun too.)
31) What is your favorite class? Favorite race?
Answered, but shout-out to that revised artificer playtest that Wizards just dropped. I love the concept behind it so much!!!
How much of the typical werewolf lore does Ark follow? Is he hurt by silver? How is lycanthropy contracted?
I havenât genuinely dug into the science as much as Iâd like to because I hadnât even added werewolves to my headworld until very recently so I can only be kinda vague with how i imagine them working until i really invest some time into science-ing them out haha.Â
(this got longer than i thought it would so heres a read more)
For the most part, I follow a lot of werewolf lore (with exceptions) but not necessarily in the way youâd think? If that makes sense. Like, for example, werewolves turn during the full moon, but not necessarily bc the moon is full, but because their hormones follow very strict patterns of fluctuation that just... happen to coincide with the lunar cycle (its correlation not causation, thus the myth was associated with the lunar cycle for convenience rather than actual fact).Â
Silver has no special affect on werewolves, u can just stab âem with whatever. Werewolves do have a special kind of bacteria in their stomachs and livers that metabolize certain toxins differently than humans (so theyre better at consuming raw meat and other gross shit as well as making certain poison completely ineffective) but this special bacteria breaks down the poison in wolfsbane in such a way that it uhhhhhh basically gets werewolves High As Shit (early werewolves were the ones that spread the rumor that wolfsbane was poisonous to them specifically cause early werewolves really loved weed apparently).Â
Lycanthropy can only be contracted by a bite where saliva mixes with the bloodstream (so scratches donât do anything). The virus takes about 3 days to spread entirely and involves the complete mutation of every cell in the host body as well as the virus taking over the central nervous system and eventually spreading to the brain. The survival rate of infection is about 50% (though with proper care, survival rates have gone up) due to how violently it shuts down the hosts internal organs, making it hard to breath, digest, and sometimes the brain will simply forget to tell the heart to beat, thus killing the host. If the host survives, the brain will âlearnâ to produce certain chemical reactions that will eventually go on to trigger the monthly changes (though the brain can be tricked w/ emotions or drugs to release these neurotransmitters more frequently resulting in more changes).Â
Werewolves also donât âlose their consciousnessâ during their changes, though it will often appear like that and all licensed werewolves are legally obligated to comply with government mandated safety regulations for that reason. What actually happens is basically uh...... you know when something pisses you off real bad but you cant do anything about it and you really just wanna punch a wall or hit something but when you do it doesnât make it better? Like everything is grating your nerves and then you stub your toe or something and you wanna murder someone for a hot second? Yeah its like that for werewolves on full moons except wayyyy worse and thus theyre much easier to aggravate and much more likely to lash out over literally nothing (they will genuinely try not to hurt people it just happens). Werewolves also need to eat a lot to keep up with all the calories they burn through so theyre even more agitated when hungry.
Ive got a shit ton more lore i can pull out of my ass but heres some uhhhhh Basics i guess thank u for asking :)))
