dex: evie or suddon who would he save
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU THOUHG OH MY GOD WHO ARE YOU WHO ARE OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD FUCK YO U.
No but real talk he would save Evie like he would never forgive himself if he robbed a child of a full life out of desire for someone who would never properly love him back. Especially not if that child happened to be his very own daughter. Suddon may just have hurt him enough for him to have grown callous towards her no matter how much he loves her.Β
True, heβd hesitate for a second but ultimately, heβd save Evie.
Send me 2 characters (yours, mine, fictional, whatever) and Iβll tell you which one Iβd save from drowning.
drabble - Suddon/Aaron
The first time Suddon ever saw him, she was very intrigued.
Aaron was exactly the kind of person she didn't like: selfish, conceded, somewhat of a playboy. He blew through girls like most health-conscious people blow through pairs of underwear. He had a flavor of the week girl, and she was determined not to fall into the trap he set. He smelled quite lovely, though. Something like.. pine trees, with the faintest hint of mint, and maybe some cigarette smoke as well. It was an interesting smell, in a good way. She liked it a lot.
Suddon had walked over to where he was sitting in the library, alone, holding the little pink homemade valentine in the shape of a heart in her left hand. She was going to give it to him - not like he'd be alone on Valentine's day, but it was worth a shot, right? She cleared her throat gently and smiled, sitting down at his table.
"I really like the book you're reading. It's quite lovely, you know," she mumbled softly while twirling a strand of hair around her finger. Her slightly curly blonde locks framed her face today and the pink dress she wore today matched the headband that adorned her head. "You seemed kinda lonely over here by yourself, and I had this to give to you, so here!"
"My dad says I'm not supposed to talk to you, but shh." She continued on, giggling slightly as she handed him the valentine when he peered up from his book. "Okay well, I have to go! Bye!"
Aaron didn't have the chance to say anything to her at all before she jumped up and skipped away with a little extra spring in her step. He just stared down at the valentine and chuckled, smiling.Β
drabble - Stephen/Suddon
It was odd how they became friends. He was the no nonsense type, always the studious one with low tolerance levels. She was the girl who let her imagination run wild, the one who believed in nargles and unicorns. Yet he seemed to tolerate her, and she seemed to look past his rough exterior to find a gentler inside when the two of them were together.
They laid out in the midday sun, soft green grass surrounding them. She was dressed in a little white dress, covered in a beautiful lace pattern that she admired dearly. Much like her aunt with her fashion choices, her parents had always said. Her feet were bare - shoes were too restricting on a day like this - and her toenails were painted in a shade of bright yellow. A ribbon was tied at the end of her imperfectly braided hair, pale pink in color, her favorite color. He was in something much simpler and more plain, a sweater and a pair of khaki colored slacks - boring in Suddon's mind, perfect in Stephen's. Of course he wore his usual black socks and penny loafers, as he wore everyday, inside or out, rain or shine. It was a very businesslike attire, he had said when she'd inquired the reason why.
It wasn't long before the once sunny skies became cluttered with clouds and it began to rain down on them. Suddon giggled, jumping up from where she'd been lying, while Stephen just sat up with a disgusted look on his face. "We need to go inside, we're going to get wet and catch colds."
"Just come have fun, Stephen! Dance with me." Suddon grabbed his hand and forced him up (she was much, much stronger than she appeared after years of wrestling with Lucas), grinning as widely as she possibly could. "Do you ever smile?"
"No." He still looked very unamused as she began to twirl around in the rain, her white dress fanning out around her as she spun. She looked so innocent, so cute, so.. Suddon-like.
The rain let up after only a few minutes; typical summer rain. She was disappointed that he never danced with her, but instead of pouting she gasped and pointed into the sky.
"Do you see it?" She whispered into his ear, turning to look at him.
"See what?" "The rainbow." "No." "You have to believe, Stephen. You'll see a rainbow if you believe there's a rainbow." "No, I'll see a rainbow if the light reflects-" "No no, I don't want to hear your silly scientific explanations. Just look."
After a few long moments of absolute silence, the only noise heard being their breathing, he nodded. "I see it." "I knew you would." Suddon smiled and started to race up the hill back to the castle. "Race you!" He chased after her, but wasn't able to catch up; she won, but only because she got a head start. He swears.
drabble - Suddon/Benjamin
"Hi, Benji!" Suddon grinned and flopped down in the grass next to Benjamin, peering over at what he was doing. Writing something, it seemed; probably another poem that he'd refuse to let her read. He'd never know, but sometimes she flipped through his notebooks and read them anyway. She loved them all and even knew a couple of them by heart.
"Whatcha writing about today?" She glanced over his shoulder at the paper only to have him nudge her away, stop it, Sudzy.
"I don't know what I'm writing about yet," he muttered with a gentle shrug of his shoulders. It was like he didn't even care - but she knew he took it really seriously, she could just tell, even if he'd never say something like that out loud. Come to think of it, he didn't say much at all out loud.
"Okay fine, be like that then." She rolled her eyes in a teasing manner, stuck her tongue out at him and sunk down into the soft green grass, watching the clouds move across the pale blue sky. Cloudwatching was one of her favorite things to do. It was like observing a whole 'nother world, just in one little section of the vast skies.
"See anything interesting?" Benjamin knew the drill; he'd get her talking about the shapes she saw in the sky and she'd never shut up. Didn't matter anyway, he liked listening to her talk. Her voice had this soothing tone to it no matter now excited she got, or angry, or sad. And she was a nice speaker too - she actually came up with some intellectual things to say for being known as an airhead around school.
"Well today there's a rabbit, and a big tree. And there's a.. is that a goblet? Or a blueberry bush?..."
How do you get a goblet out of a blueberry bush? He wondered, a confused expression on his face. He'd partially tuned her out, listening to her voice but not focusing on the words she was saying.
"...and there's a unicorn! I always see unicorns. Oh, it's definitely a blueberry bush there. There's nargles trying to eat the blueberries, but the unicorn is keeping them away..."
She just kept talking and he kept writing, shaking his head and chuckling.Β
