Happy Kwanzaa!!!! Today is the second day in which we celebrate Kujichagulia (koo-jee-cha-goo-lee-ah), which means Self-Determination in Swahili. On this day we choose to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves, and stand up/speak for ourselves. I have chosen to use my gifts to create poetry and short stories. My blog will launch at the end of Kwanzaa, with my Kujichahulia in full supply. I have also made open mics/poetry slams/story telling apart of my weekly routine again. By placing strong, positive, goal oriented, passionate, and educated Black Women and Men in my circle, my confidence in Success in Self has grown exponentially. I am a writer. I am a writer.
