I got this elephant bus from a succulent store online but it’s getting wrinkly and some of the leaves are turning a yellowish transplant color is it under watered or overwatered. I’ve only watered them once since I got them but they came from Cali and there isn’t much sun here where I live so is it the climate difference?
Unfortunately, in my experience, and what I’ve seen from others, Elephant bush’s are extremely fickle plants and will throw a tantrum about any change in environment. To me the wrinkling looks like underwatering as I’m not seeing any overwatering signs. Since you say it came from Cali in the mail i’m assuming it’s thirsty from that travel, as well. One watering may not be enough for it. It might be beneficial to unpot it and remove all soil from it’s roots, then putting the roots in some water for awhile for it to plump back up and stop being wrinkly, then transferring it back into a pot again.Â
