This is ma baby She-ra, a year old and a little small, but I love her
These are my cats Maus (striped) and Frechdachs. I got them in may from a shelter. They are both FIV positive and were very shy in the beginning. Frechdachs didn't even want to play at all and was scared of almost anything. Since then they have made huge steps. Frechdachs now hunts at least the laser pointer and is almost always with me on the couch. Though he is still scared of fabrics and the cat beds. Maus makes it very clear when she wants to be pet and now often joins us on the couch as well.
I recently bought a house and wanted to share my little enrichment setup for my kitties! Basket of toys that are frequently scattered all over the room, nice window to watch from, treat ball on the bed, and boxes and scratchers. I'm looking into getting a planter for some grass soon too! It's their own room with a baby gate so the dogs can't go bother them in there. Thanks for letting me share!

Dani’s addition: This is so fantastic. If you’re able to have a room specifically for your cats, it’s so amazing and enriching. I’m sure they’re going to feel great in their new space, and not only that, but it’s going to help them a bunch with confidence too! Knowing they have a room to be in and just do what they need? It’s really great.
We did this with our home too, and honestly it’s become such a safe haven for the cats when we need to safely put them away, too. It’s a double bonus. We put them there when we know we need to do prolonged work on the house, or if we’re having a party with a lot of folks going in and going out. It definitely wasn’t what we intended when we set up a spare bedroom/cat room, but it’s absolutely worth it!
