I recently was told good news about an opportunity that would see me in a better financial situation. I was super excited about it. I was so close to taking this opportunity. But I then remembered that every decision I make should go before God first. I laid it on Him and He told me not to take it...like what you mean, God? 😳 Am I not meant to progress? But He quickly comforted me and said that I should place first things first. That means I need to honor the commitment to what He said I should do and He will take care of everything else. He added that no amount of money will ever satisfy and give you what I can. So, like that, I heeded God's instruction. I believe that promotion comes from God.
