He cooks me meals and makes sure I remember to eat, and helps me remember things when I start losing track of time and days, and he always comes and finds me if I'm out on my own and struggling to keep myself calm. He looks after me and supports me and is very kind and understanding of my PTSD and I feel safe when I'm with him and it's so nice to have that with someone, especially when I'm dealing with shitty head times

We met a few months ago through my friend Katie, who was going away and I was nagging her to see all her friends before she went. She only came back this week though, so it’s really funny that Devin and I have started dating and moved in together (and celebrated his birthday 3 times, and I’ve met all his friends and families, and he was with me for graduation) all in the time she was on holiday ahahahaha :)Â
But yes, we are very happy together and we fit really well and it’s really awesome because I don’t think we ever expected to meet someone like each other. Also, he’s hot as heck ;) ♥

It’s ok, my mum was probably really specifically unspecific & you weren’t able to get ideal reference photos and stuff. The face is amazing though but I understand why you’re not happy with it. She is though right? Customer satisfaction ;P
the grass was way nicer last year. *sigh* i am pretty happy with the face because it went through such a huge transformation from being almost unsalvageable to actually working! but the composition, the landscape, the positions of the animals, it's fairly shitty. reference would have been nice, I'm far too inexperienced to work without good quality reference and but I have learned my limits and that I'm never going to let anyone talk me into doing something I'm not capable of doing well again

I have a really good idea and I'm excited to do my first series. I'm much better than this painting shows when I'm doing what I'm good at with good reference (from life or a good quality photograph) so even though my skills are obviously not in line with where I want them to be I'm confident I can get them to look good enough to please me
I have had a wonderful time in London this weekend with Devin and all his families and it has been so nice when I thought it was going to be so crummy and I'm so glad that I have Devin in my life and today is now his birthday so I'm so excited to do all the things to make him happy and show him how much I appreciate being able to find himÂ
