"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up, wake up, wake up!" The little 5 year old was on top of Lydiaâs and Stilesâ bed jumping up and down in her princess nightgown, screaming at the top of her lungs. "Itâs Christmas, itâs finally here!" âAlright, alright we are getting up sweetieâ, a very groggy Lydia rose up from bed rubbing her eyes, trying to wake up. âClaudia, itâs 4 in the morning, Christmas canât wait another another like 5 hours?â âOf course not!â Claudia says as she giggles. âAlright Stiles you need to get upâ, Lydia says while shoving his shoulder. âMaybe if I pretend that Iâm asleep, theyâll leave me aloneâŚâ Stiles murmured to himself. âYou know I can hear you right? Get up Stiles, letâs start the festivities.â The Stilinski family made their way down the stairs, Claudia leading the way. Stiles whipped up breakfast which included eggs, bacon, and waffles, Lydiaâs and Claudiaâs favorite. Claudia sat right in front of all the gifts, touching the wrapping paper and the beautiful bows her mom placed on them. âSo can we open them now daddy? I donât think Santa would want us to wait any longerâŚâ âWe can open giftsâŚas soon as mommy reads us the Christmas story, you know our traditions Claud.â Lydia went on to read the Christmas story which lasted for about 5 minutes, but felt like eternity for Claudia. She kept squirming around, looking at the gifts every 2 seconds, just to make sure they were still in there place. Lydia finally closed the book and said, âthe end.â âYay! Presents time!â Claudia went to grab this little box that was right next to her. It was covered in blue wrapping with little snowflakes on it and a beautiful white bow. She carefully unwrapped the little box, making sure the wrapping paper and the bow would not get ruined. She opened the box to find a silver necklace with a tiny little arrow and bow. âMommy, daddy itâs so pretty!â She jumped up and down and handed it over to Stiles so he could put it around her neck. âThis is what the hero Allison Argent would use, the girl you tell me stories about!â Lydia smiled, her eyes started to water up a bit. âThis necklace is a reminder to be strong, to stand up for yourself and for your friends, to be the possible person you can be, okayâ âI love it Mommy, Santa mustâve heard the great stories about her too huh?â âHe must have sweetie.â Claudia opened up the rest of her presents which included fairytale books and more princess dolls. Later on that day, Scott and Kira came over with their little boy, Argent, and sat around the fire place with the Stilinskis and drank hot chocolate with marshmallows.
