Misha wasn’t surprised to end up in a cell, and she wondered faintly whether that was something she should or shouldn’t be concerned about. It wasn’t like she had been trying to end up here; she was usually a pretty law-abiding citizen, after all. It was just that, circumstances being what they were, she had just so happened to stumble upon the perfect setup to land herself in jail for the night. Her refusal to name herself and lack of personal identification probably hadn’t helped, and after being summarily divested of her few personal affects she had been dumped into her current space to await further action.
The thing was, she didn’t intend to stick around. But it would, she noted, probably be far more complicated trying to work her way out of here without a fight given that she wasn’t exactly alone.
“So,” she asked, the barest trace of amusement flashing in her red eyes, “what are you in for?”
