Boston University John Hancock Student Village at Night
The John Hancock Student Village or StuVi is a residential and recreational complex at Boston University. It towers over Agganis Arena and the BU campus grounds. The background in this features two of the tallest Boston skyscrapers; The Prudential Center and 200 Clarendon formerly known as the John Hancock Tower. I really love the bright colors and the detail captured in this Boston night photography image. How does the housing process work for Stuvi? Since there's only singles, are you allowed to pull people in/go to the housing appointment with more than one person? Is there a limit on how many people you can go with to the appointment or are you only allowed to go alone?
It works the same as other housing. Other people can go with you to the housing appointment. You’ll have to ask if there are any apartments/suites that have multiple empty rooms. Stuvi suites/apartments generally have 2 to 4 people living in them so technically you and 3 other friends could go together and look for a apartment/suite that is totally empty.
That being said the chances of there being more than 1 room available in a Stuvi suite/apartment are very very slim. I heard last year that both StuVi 1 and 2 filled just through internal selection. Most people get into StuVi by being pulled in or by going abroad fall semester. It’s possible a senior might have a good enough number to get into a spare room but it’s unlikely there will be more than 1 available.
