get yourself a better wife who loves your writing and takes you somewhere that keeps you nice and warm instead of making you sit on a bed made of ice 👍
(never mind that when she says she loves the fully authentic version of your story it literally doesn't mean anything because she loves all writing equally, and if she really valued your creative output she would have given you notes instead of empty praise for what was likely a rushed and purposefully self-indulgent chapter. and never mind that sometimes it's good to be cold and uncomfortable because then the blankets are softer and warmer and the aurora is all the more beautiful for the sacrifice it took to see it.)
