I busted my ass a week ago, and my fucking leg still hurts so much, yet there’s not so much as a bruise to show for it. Pieces
I am picking up the pieces and moving on today. I will still do this and it will mean even more to me. Enough sulking already and time to work! Plan: run in the water for all 6 training runs on the schedule. Convert into hours. I.e long run 16 miles scheduled this weekend. At 11 min miles that will be 3 hours in the pool. I am also going to bike at least 3 times a week and lift weights at least 2 times a week! I am essentially doubling my workout time to compensate. I do not plan on losing any fitness and hope to come out if this stronger! Stupid leg I am gonna show you!! Side note: probably just because my leg wants me to be a hypochondriac or something but it has an odd ache in it today....
