So yes, it’s been a while, however I have some new cooking adventures to share, and will be posting soon. Sadly, Tumblr just *ATE* half a post so I will call it for now, and start again fresh tomorrow.

How my day has been so far. Worked all night for nothing. #doodle #drawing #stupidcomputers
My Friday night
This was my Friday. Husband comes home from work, we walk down to the waterfront, eat fish and chips, stop for ice cream. Not bad. Then said husband's work calls and there is some issue with a port or Ethernet or something computer related. We proceed to jog home (which is a mile away) UP hill, with a stomach full of ice cream. He's been on his work laptop on the phone since. I love the IT field, but sometimes I hate the IT field. My rant continues: He used to have to do "patching" at night on these Solaris servers. I'm not sure what that means but I know if there was a problem it would take hours to fix, to the point he's laying in the floor with the laptop waiting on some "patch" to update all night. One time we woke up in the morning after one of these little patch sessions and ALL VPN's were down in Canada and Australia. It cost the company he worked for millions of dollars. Its always a shit storm when something breaks. Sometimes I hate computers, but I also love computers. I digress. So my Friday continues like most Fridays. I'm wasting time on tumblr writing this blog. Husband is pulling an all nighter only twenty feet away from me. I have no idea what's wrong with these damn ethernets, but I hate them too.
so...
I got a new wacom for Valentine's day and decided to check it out. Started drawing this kick awesome pic of one of my favorite characters from a scifi-space-western I'm writing with my hubby. Her name's Kairi, and she kicks awesome.
Well... when I minimize the file to access something on the internet, my computer totally flips out and shuts down. An hour and a half of work - gone! Needless to say, I'm really pissed. And, my hubby trying to tell me, "You know what, it's fine," is only making it worse. It's not fine. It's never fine when I lose something. If I had spent an hour and a half of work typing, I would have lose half a chapter. It's not fine. I am not okay.
