1. What’s your favourite breakfast food?

Pancakes with real maple syrup. Not Aunt Jemima or any of that crap, but real, tapped-from-a-tree maple syrup.

2. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

Control over time. I’d want to travel through it, pause it, rewind it… yeah, time control.

3. What’s the worst experience you’ve ever had?

Once in therapy I had a sort of psychotic break. I lost all sense of reality, hallucinated, sobbed uncontrollably… I was terrified to even look at my therapist because I had this overwhelming certainty that she wouldn’t have a face. It was terrifying. I had the shakes for hours afterwards and still can’t really process just how disconnected I really was. It feels like it must have been a dream (nightmare) but it wasn’t.

4. What makes you wake up with a smile on your face?

Sunlight coming through the windows.

5. How would you describe your ideal partner, platonic or otherwise?

Funny enough to make me pee my pants, smart enough to prove me wrong, and open-minded enough to debate anything. Platonic or romantic, it’s basically the same either way. Romantic just means I’d also need to find them physically attractive, but since I’ve been attracted to men and women, who are short, tall, old, young, thin, heavy, conventionally attractive or otherwise… all manner of hair colours, eye colours, skin tones, races, religions, creeds… plus a few who had some sort of physical deformity or handicap… I really don’t have a type. I just know what I like when I see it.

6. First movie you remember watching?

Oliver & Company. I don’t know if it’s the first one I ever saw, but it’s the first one I saw in theatres, so that counts for something.

7. You know the kind of songs that seem like they’re written specifically for you, the kind that touch your soul? What song or songs make you feel this way?

Oh jeez… When I was 14 I fell in love with Our Lady Peace’s Clumsy (the whole album, not just the song) and felt like there were several that were just for me. I think Shaking was the one that did it the most. I don’t know if there’s anything that I identify with like that anymore, but there’s a line in Ani DiFranco’s Gray that I’ve identified with for more than a decade and want to get tattooed at some point: “As bad as I am, I’m proud of the fact that I’m worse than I seem”. That one has always felt perfectly “me”.

8. How long have you been on tumblr for? Would you consider dating someone you met here?

Um… I’ve created and deleted a few accounts over the years. I think I first started in mid-2010? I know I was here by 2011, but my current account wasn’t started until probably 2012. And I would definitely consider dating someone from here. I’ve actually got a few Tumblr crushes. They’re just mostly too young for me. :P

9. What turns you on? 

So many things… leather, D/s, Jewish dudes, aggression, intelligence, Benedict Cumberbatch…

10. Which book did you not like at first then slowly begun to love with an almost maniacal obsession?

Revenge by Yoko Ogawa. I’d heard it was good, but the first few chapters I was like, “what’s all the fuss?” Then by the end I was just… holy shit. Like, what the fuck… and who thinks up that shit? And it’s so well paced! And I can’t even tell you what it was like to get to the end and immediately have to go back to the beginning and start again. It’s mental.

11. Have you had your first kiss? How would you describe it in three words?

Hahahahahaha… Three appropriate words do not exist.

1. Which fictional world would you live in if given the chance?

The Harry Potter universe.

2. If life was an RPG which class would you be?

Hahaha, probably a bard. :P

3. If you were a time lord, who would you choose to take on an adventure, where and what time period would you go?

My first thought, as a Christian, is that I’d want to go back and meet Christ, but as much as I love history, I’d probably go to the future. Not so far that everything was *completely* foreign… Maybe just 200 years. And I’d probably take my friend Addie, just ‘cause she’s good times. Plus she’s (usually) ginger and I could probably talk her into a miniskirt… :)

4. Favorite ad least favorite fashion trends?

Favourite: honestly, there’s very little I really like about current fashion trends. I seem to do my best to avoid anything that looks remotely “in”.

Least favourite: tights as “pants”, especially if they're patterned. I just so rarely find them flattering on anyone.

5. Would you consider bring one of the first few people to populate another planet?

YES!!! TOTALLY!!! And not just because it’s a pretty fair chance of getting laid… But that, too.

6. What kind of animal are you in bed?

Usually a sloth. I’m single.

7. Do you have a survival plan for a possible zombie apocalypse?

Commit relatively painless suicide early on. Darwinism does not favour my chances.

8. You wake up one morning and you realize you have gained super powers. What are they and what do you do with them?

Time control (see question two of survey one).

9. What is your favorite animated movie?

I’m going to fall back on The Little Mermaid. There are lots of great animated movies out there but that one’s stood the test of time with me.

10. You have infinite money to spend on making the house of your dreams. Is it large and extravagant, or small and practical? Do you have any secret rooms?

Probably in the 3000 square foot range, with very high ceilings, lots of wide wood trim and paneling, and definitely hidden rooms and passageways throughout.

11. Science comes up with a way to bring back the dead temporarily- the only catch is that they have no memories of their former life. Do you take part in this? who would you bring back?

I’ve been drinking soy milk for 5 or so year, but you will probably just have to try everything and see what you like best

I don’t really need milk to much. I get the unsweeten blue diamond almond milk for cereal and pancakes however.

Love love love Almond. It’s not super thick like soy seems to always be, and it’s soooo smooth. Coconut milk reminds me of off tasting water

Coconut milk (in a carton, not a tin) and oat milk are my favourite. They’re both creamy and delicious!

almond is by far my favourite. I usually get Almond Dream (by Silk) in Vanilla.

Well, almond seems to be the most popular choice, and I know I've seen it in plenty of stores, so I think I'll start there and see how that pans out. I'll definitely give soy a shot, and see if I can find coconut. I've never even heard of oat milk, but I'll look into that, too.
