#stuffonmyheadfriday #latergram📸 Yesterday was a really busy day from start to finish. I barely got a chance to sit yesterday, let alone balance a thing on my head! That doesn't change the fact that this year, in late March, will be the 10th anniversary of the last day I saw all of my kids together. Although I will never get those years back, and although it hurts every day, I still know in my heart I made the right decision. I just wish his parents understood why I HAD to make that decision. It had nothing to do with personal gain and everything to do with listening to my child. Which, BTW is literally a parent's number one job. I do miss my old life, I do wonder how things would have been different. And I worry every day that my sons hate me for putting their Dad in jail. But some day, I think they'll understand my impossible choices. Remember well children, where you came from is not where you are going, it is just the foundation on which you are built. That foundation, no matter how doating the parent will have gaps, that we have to parent ourselves in adulthood to fill. I miss you all so much every day. None of your parents were or are perfect.
