Ingredients: 500g pizza dough. 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded. 100g ricotta cheese. 1/2 cup tomato sauce. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup sliced sun-dried tomatoes. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 egg, beaten. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 220C 430F. Roll out the pizza dough into a large circle, about 12 inches in diameter. Spread a layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the tomato sauce. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with half of the grated Parmesan cheese, the beaten egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over the mozzarella cheese on the dough. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the ricotta mixture. Layer the fresh basil leaves, sliced black olives, and sun-dried tomatoes over the cheese. Fold the pizza dough in half over the toppings, creating a half-moon shape. Press the edges to seal. Using a sharp knife, make cuts from the folded edge towards the center, leaving about 1 inch uncut in the center to form the 'sunflower petals.' Carefully twist each 'petal' to expose the filling and create the sunflower effect. Sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
